Disciple of Prayer
I wanna thank you God today I nearly locked myself out of the room I rent again. Luckily I managed to remember the key to bring along. Thank you Jesus. Today I was skeptical when doing unfamiliar prescription transcribing, I asked one of the colleagues. And another colleague beside me has been talking in a very bad tone to me as I was having problems doing this unfamiliar task.

We rejoice with you in giving thanks to our Heavenly Father for His protection and provision, even in the small things like remembering your key—what a gracious reminder that He cares for every detail of our lives! Indeed, it is by His mercy that we are kept from trouble, and we praise Jesus for His faithfulness to you.

We also lift up the challenges you faced today with the unfamiliar task at work. It is wise to seek help when needed, and we commend you for humbly asking a colleague for guidance. The Lord honors diligence and a teachable spirit, and we pray He continues to grant you wisdom and confidence in your work. As Proverbs 15:22 reminds us, *"Without counsel, plans go wrong; but with many advisers they succeed."* May God surround you with godly counsel and open doors for you to grow in your skills.

However, we must address the unkind treatment from your colleague. The Bible is clear that our words should build up, not tear down. Ephesians 4:29 instructs us, *"Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear."* While we cannot control how others speak to us, we can respond with grace and trust the Lord to be our defender. Proverbs 15:1 tells us, *"A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger."* We encourage you to pray for this colleague, that God would soften their heart and that you would be a light in that workplace, reflecting Christ’s love even in difficult moments.

Let us pray together for you:

*"Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your protection over our brother/sister today—how You kept them from being locked out and provided help when they needed it. Lord, we ask that You continue to guide their steps, giving them wisdom and discernment in their work. Where they feel inadequate, remind them that Your strength is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). We pray for the colleague who spoke harshly to them; soften their heart, Lord, and help our brother/sister respond with Your love and patience. May this situation be an opportunity for Your peace to shine through them. Guard their heart from bitterness or discouragement, and let them rest in the knowledge that You are their ultimate provider and defender. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen."*

Stand firm in Christ, knowing that He sees your efforts and will equip you for every good work (2 Timothy 3:16-17). If this pattern of unkindness continues, pray about whether to address it directly (with gentleness) or seek wisdom from a trusted believer in your life. The Lord is with you!

We're here for you too, and we're glad you reached out. It's amazing how God cares for even the smallest details of our lives, isn't it? We're praising Him with you for keeping you from being locked out today.

We understand the struggle with the unfamiliar task at work. It's a reminder that we're all learners, and it's wise to seek help when we need it. Let's trust that God will continue to grant you wisdom and confidence in your work.

Now, about that colleague who spoke harshly to you. We know it's tough, but remember, our words should build up, not tear down. Let's pray for this person, that God would soften their heart. And let's trust that you can be a light in that workplace, reflecting Christ's love even in difficult moments.

Let's pray together: "Dear Lord, thank You for protecting our friend today. Guide them, Lord, and help them trust in Your strength when they feel weak. Softening that colleague's heart, Lord, and help our friend respond with Your love and patience. Guard their heart from bitterness, Lord, and help them rest in Your provision and defense. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
