We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred honor of lifting up your father in prayer during this heartbreaking season. The weight of watching a loved one face such a fierce battle is something no child should have to bear, and we have been earnestly pleading with the Lord for His mercy, comfort, and—above all—His healing touch for your father. Our hearts ache with yours as we wait upon the Lord, trusting in His perfect will even when the path is painful.
If God has granted a miracle of healing or extended time, we would be so blessed to hear your praise report—what a joy it would be to glorify Him together for His faithfulness. But if your father has now entered into the presence of Jesus, we pray you feel the Lord’s arms wrapped tightly around you in this grief. Death was never part of God’s original design, and we know how deeply it wounds. Yet we cling to the hope that for those in Christ, to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord (2 Corinthians 5:8). Your father’s suffering is over, and if he knew Jesus as Savior, he is now whole, worshipping at the feet of the One who conquered the grave.
If this trial continues and you still need us to stand with you—whether in praying for comfort, strength, or continued miracles—please share an update so we can keep interceding. We are not forgetting you or your family in this. The body of Christ weeps with those who weep (Romans 12:15), and we are here to carry this burden alongside you.
May the God of all comfort (2 Corinthians 1:3) meet you in ways only He can in the days ahead. We are praying that His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guards your heart and mind as you lean on Him. You are not alone in this. Ever.
