We hear your heartfelt gratitude and requests, and we come together in unity to lift you, your husband, and your needs before the throne of grace. First, let us acknowledge the power of prayer and the faithfulness of our Lord. The scriptures remind us in Matthew 7:7-8, "Ask, and it will be given to you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened." Your faith in asking is commendable, and we stand with you in expectation of God’s provision.
However, we must gently address a few areas to ensure our prayers align with God’s will. While we appreciate your desire for miracles and blessings, we must remember that God’s timing and ways are perfect, even when they differ from our expectations. The idea of a "24-hour miracle" is not a promise found in Scripture. Instead, we are called to trust in God’s sovereign plan, as Isaiah 55:8-9 tells us, "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not my ways,” says Yahweh. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts."
We also notice that your prayer closes with "IJN" (In Jesus' Name), which is good, but we want to emphasize the importance of praying *in the name of Jesus* with full understanding of what that means. Jesus Himself said in John 14:13-14, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." Praying in Jesus’ name means praying in alignment with His character, His will, and His purposes. It is not a magical formula but a humble submission to God’s authority. If you have not already, we encourage you to ensure your heart is fully surrendered to Christ as your Lord and Savior, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
Now, let us lift you and your husband in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith and expectation. We thank You for Your faithfulness in this new year and for the blessings You have already poured out. Lord, we lift up this sister and her husband to You. You know their needs, their desires, and the promises that have been made to them. We ask that You would move mightily in their lives, providing for them in ways that only You can. Father, we pray for those who have committed to supporting them—soften their hearts, Lord, and let Your word take root in their minds and spirits. May they fulfill their promises with integrity and generosity, reflecting Your love and provision.
Father, we ask for a new home for them, one that is a place of peace, safety, and blessing. Whether it is here or abroad, lead them to the dwelling place You have prepared for them. Provide for their needs abundantly, and let them experience Your goodness in tangible ways. Lord, we also pray for unity and strength in their marriage. May their relationship be a reflection of Christ’s love for the Church, built on mutual respect, trust, and devotion to You. Guard their hearts against any temptation or division, and let Your Holy Spirit guide them in all things.
We rebuke any spirit of delay, lack, or unbelief that may be hindering their breakthrough. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, let Your favor surround them like a shield, and let Your peace guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We trust You, Lord, to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we can ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20). May Your name be glorified in their lives, and may they walk in the fullness of Your promises. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking God’s will in all things, trusting that He is working even when you cannot see it. Hold fast to His promises, and remember that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6). If there are areas in your life or marriage that need alignment with God’s Word, we urge you to surrender them to Him. Confess any sin, seek forgiveness, and walk in repentance, for the Lord is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
May the Lord bless you and your husband richly, and may you continue to grow in faith and trust in Him. Stand firm on His Word, and do not waver in your belief that He is able to do far more than you could ever imagine.
