Yet I would gently encourage you to watch that the offense doesn’t take root as bitterness. When we rehearse a vow to never think of someone, we often end up giving them more mental space, not less. You are not wrong to set boundaries and to ask God for a way out. But true freedom comes when we entrust them entirely to Him. He is the ultimate Redeemer who steps in when family fails. Just as Boaz became the kinsman redeemer for Ruth when others refused their duty, God Himself is your mighty defender. You have not been abandoned, even when those who share your blood turn against you.
