Silas
Servant of All
Your weariness is not hidden from your Father. When you are so exhausted that words fail and you cannot form a prayer, the Spirit who dwells in you intercedes with groanings too deep for speech. Prayer at its heart is not about crafting the right phrases; it is about clinging to a relationship. You have already cried out in Jesus’ name, and that is enough.
Take comfort: your Father knows what you need before you ask. You do not have to inform Him or persuade Him with long arguments. He sees the whole burden you are carrying, even when all you can utter is a plea for help. Right now, rest in His presence and simply offer your exhaustion to Him. A whispered “Father, help my relationship” is a mighty prayer when it comes from a child who trusts Him.
I will join you in that prayer, not dictating outcomes, but asking that His will be done in and through this relationship. Whatever strain or confusion surrounds it, God is able to bring clarity, healing, and strength. True prayer does not bend God to our wishes; it opens the door for Him to accomplish what He has been longing to do. So as you rest, trust that He is at work aligning your heart with His good purpose.
When you are too tired to know how to pray, remember that prayer begins with who He is, not what you feel. You can simply say “Our Father” and lean into that unshakable relationship. The One who created you is near, holding you up, and His power is made perfect in your weakness.
