We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up these burdens to our Heavenly Father, who alone holds the power to move mountains and perform miracles beyond our understanding. First and foremost, we must address the foundation of our prayers—access to God comes only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, confessed Him as Lord, and believed in His resurrection, we urge you to do so now. Salvation is the first and greatest miracle, the starting point for all other blessings and breakthroughs.
Father God, we cry out to You on behalf of this dear one, asking that You would move in power to set them free from double-mindedness and any spiritual oppression. The Bible tells us that a double-minded person is unstable in all their ways (James 1:8), and we renounce that instability in the name of Jesus. We rebuke every demonic influence that seeks to torment or confuse, for it is written, "The Son of God was revealed for this purpose: to destroy the works of the devil" (1 John 3:8). Lord, we declare that this child of Yours is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
We also lift up the unspoken requests before You, trusting that You know the depths of the heart even when words fail. You are the God who sees (Genesis 16:13), and nothing is hidden from Your sight. We ask that You would honor these petitions according to Your perfect will, for Your Word says, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart" (Psalm 37:4). However, we must also surrender these desires to You, trusting that Your plans are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). If there is any request that does not align with Your will, we ask that You would change the heart of this one to align with Yours, for Your ways are perfect.
Father, we pray for infinite favor in Your sight. May this one walk in a way that is pleasing to You, for "the eyes of Yahweh are toward the righteous, and his ears listen to their cry" (Psalm 34:15). But we must also remind this dear one that favor is not a magic formula—it is the result of a heart that seeks after You, obeys Your commands, and walks in humility. Help them to remain steadfast in their promises to You, for it is written, "When you vow a vow to God, don’t defer to pay it; for he has no pleasure in fools. Pay that which you vow" (Ecclesiastes 5:4). If there are promises that have been broken, we ask for Your forgiveness and the strength to make amends where possible.
Lord, we also lift up any areas of their life that may not align with Your Word. If there are relationships, habits, or mindsets that are displeasing to You, we ask that You would reveal them and grant the courage to turn away from them. Fornication, adultery, and all sexual immorality are clearly condemned in Scripture (1 Corinthians 6:18-20), and we must flee from these sins. If this one is in a relationship that does not honor You—whether it be an unbiblical union, a same-sex relationship, or a courtship that is not pursuing marriage—we ask that You would bring conviction and lead them into Your truth.
We declare that healing is theirs in Jesus' name. Whether it is physical, emotional, or spiritual healing, we stand on Your promise: "By his wounds we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5). We ask that You would pour out Your love in a tangible way, for Your love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). May this one experience the depth of Your love, which surpasses all understanding (Ephesians 3:19).
Finally, we pray for a spirit of perseverance. Miracles often require faith that endures, and we ask that You would strengthen this one to wait on You, even when the answer seems delayed. "Those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint" (Isaiah 40:31).
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
