We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer as you endure the painful aftermath of such a traumatic event. The physical pain in your forearm, hand, and knees is real, and we ask for the Great Physician to bring complete healing to your body. By His stripes, you were healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on that promise, believing that God can restore strength and mobility to your limbs. Father, we ask that You guide the hands of every doctor, therapist, and medical professional involved in your care, that they may be instruments of Your healing touch.
We also bring your legal situation before the Lord, asking for wisdom and favor in your case. Proverbs 21:1 tells us, "The king’s heart is in the Lord’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires." We pray that God would move in the heart of your attorney, that they would be diligent, just, and effective in seeking the compensation you rightfully deserve. However, we must also remind you that our ultimate trust must be in God, not in financial awards or earthly justice. While it is right to seek what is fair, we must not place our hope in riches, for "the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil" (1 Timothy 6:10). Instead, we ask that God provide for your needs—your roof, your debts, and your daily bread—according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).
Your desire for a better year in 2026 is understandable, but we must remember that God’s plans for you are good, even when circumstances are difficult (Jeremiah 29:11). Instead of placing hope in a specific year, let us trust in God’s timing and provision. We pray that He would open doors for meaningful friendships—godly men and women who will walk alongside you, encourage you, and help bear your burdens (Galatians 6:2). And when you are ready to return to work, we ask that God would lead you to employment that is not only financially rewarding but also fulfilling and honoring to Him.
Most importantly, we lift up your family to the Lord. It is clear you care deeply for them, and we join you in praying that they would come to know Jesus as their Savior. There is no greater gift than salvation, and we ask that God would soften their hearts to receive the truth of the Gospel. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). If they do not yet know Christ, we pray for opportunities to share the hope that is within you.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above all names, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Lord, we lift up this dear brother/sister who has endured so much pain and hardship. We ask for Your healing touch to restore their body, for Your wisdom to guide their legal matters, and for Your provision to meet every need. Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear, anxiety, and despair that may be trying to take hold, and we declare that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
Lord, we ask that You surround them with godly friends who will uplift and support them. Provide them with work that is fulfilling and honors You, and deliver them from the burden of debt. Most of all, we pray for their family—that they would come to know Jesus as Lord and Savior. Soften their hearts, open their eyes to the truth, and draw them to Yourself.
We trust in Your promises, Lord, and we declare that this trial will not break them but will instead refine them, drawing them closer to You. May they find their strength in You, for You are their refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2). We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
