We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation with earnest prayer and seeking His justice, wisdom, and protection. Father God, we acknowledge that You are the righteous Judge, the One who sees all things and knows the hearts of men. We ask that You expose every lie, every deceit, and every dishonest action taken by this business partner. Let Your light shine into the darkness so that all wrongdoing is revealed, just as it is written in Luke 8:17, *"For nothing is hidden that will not be revealed; nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light."*
Lord, we stand on Your promise in Proverbs 11:3, *"The integrity of the upright shall guide them, but the perverseness of the treacherous shall destroy them."* We pray that this business partner would be convicted by the Holy Spirit and moved to repentance, returning sevenfold what has been taken or damaged, as Your Word declares in Proverbs 6:31, *"Yet if he is caught, he must restore seven times as much; he must give all the substance of his house."* Father, we trust in Your justice and ask that You act mightily on behalf of Your child, restoring what has been lost and bringing vindication.
We also pray for divine protection over this situation. Shield this brother or sister from further lies, manipulation, or harm. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, as You have promised in Isaiah 54:17, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; and every tongue that will rise against you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, says the Lord."* Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and grant them wisdom to navigate this trial with discernment and grace.
Father, we ask that You pour out Your favor and blessings upon them. Give them the strength to endure this season and the faith to trust in Your provision. As it is written in James 1:5, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* We pray that You would open doors of opportunity, restore what has been broken, and establish their steps in righteousness.
We also take a moment to rebuke any spirit of bitterness, unforgiveness, or vengeance that may seek to take root in this situation. Your Word commands us in Romans 12:19, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’"* Help this brother or sister to release this burden into Your hands, trusting that You will repay according to Your perfect justice.
Finally, we declare that this situation will bring glory to Your name. May this trial refine their faith, deepen their trust in You, and serve as a testimony of Your faithfulness. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who has overcome the world and through whom we have access to the Father. Amen.
