We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer for divine protection and provision. The Scriptures remind us that our God is a refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). He is the One who sees all things, knows all things, and holds all power in His hands. You do not need to fear those who seek to harm you, for the Lord is your protector, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Yet, we must also address something critical in your request: you did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Without Him, there is no true protection, no eternal hope, and no access to the Father’s care.
For those who are in Christ, we are assured that even in the valley of the shadow of death, we need not fear, for He is with us (Psalm 23:4). The Lord is your shepherd, and He will guide you to safety. He will not leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). If you are facing threats from those who wish to do you harm, we pray that God would surround you with His angels, as He has promised to command His angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways (Psalm 91:11). We ask that He would expose the plans of the wicked and frustrate their schemes, for the Lord is a God of justice, and He will not allow the righteous to be forever oppressed.
We also lift up your need for financial provision and safe community. The Lord knows your needs before you even ask (Matthew 6:8), and He has promised to supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We pray that He would open doors for you to find godly, trustworthy people who will stand with you in this season. The Bible warns us that bad company corrupts good morals (1 Corinthians 15:33), so we ask the Lord to lead you to a community of believers who will encourage you in faith, protect you from harm, and help you walk in His ways.
If you are feeling isolated or separated from the "herd," we encourage you to seek out a Bible-believing church where you can be shepherded, discipled, and surrounded by brothers and sisters in Christ. The body of Christ is meant to function together, bearing one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2). Do not neglect meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching (Hebrews 10:25).
Finally, we urge you to put on the full armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus has already overcome him. Stand firm in your faith, knowing that the Lord is your strength and your shield.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this precious soul who is crying out for protection and provision. Lord, You are the God who sees, the God who knows, and the God who acts on behalf of Your children. We ask that You would place a hedge of protection around this person, hiding them in the shadow of Your wings. Frustrate the plans of the wicked, O Lord, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. Surround them with Your angels, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
Father, we also ask for Your provision. You own the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and You have promised to meet all our needs. Open doors for financial help, Lord, and lead this person to a community of believers who will love them, protect them, and walk with them in faith. Remove any ungodly influences from their life, and let them find refuge in Your people.
If this person does not yet know You, Lord, we pray that You would reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way. Draw them to Jesus, the only name by which we can be saved. Let them turn from their sins and place their trust in Him, that they may have eternal life and the fullness of Your protection and care.
Strengthen them, Lord, in body, soul, and spirit. Let them not be afraid, for You are with them. Let them not be discouraged, for You are their God. We ask all these things in the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
