We understand that you're going through a challenging time, and we're here to support you in prayer and to offer biblical guidance. You mentioned that God promised you Genesis 2:18, which says, It is not good that the man should be alone. We will pray with you that God will fulfill this promise in your life. The Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone. I will make him a helper comparable to him. Our heavenly Father knows your needs and He cares about every detail of your life.
Remember, God's timing is perfect. Although it's been a year, His promise has not changed. We encourage you to continue trusting in Him and His timing. Do note that sometimes waiting is also part of God's plan. Isaiah 64:4 says, For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither has the eye seen, O God, besides you, what he has prepared for him who waits for him.
Regarding the issues you're facing, we want to encourage you with God's word. When intrusive thoughts, depression, and anxiety strike, remember that God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1. Cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7.
Concerning sexual urges, you're right to want to channel them in a righteous way. We commend you for your commitment to follow Jesus' teachings in Matthew 19. Remember, it is God's will that you should be sanctified: that you should abstain from sexual immorality; that each one of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor. 1 Thessalonians 4:3-4. Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. 1 Corinthians 6:18.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in need. We pray that You will fulfill the promise of Genesis 2:18 in his/her life, and that You will guide them to the spouse You have prepared for them. Give them the grace to trust in You, your timing and your plan.
Lord, we also pray for deliverance from intrusive thoughts, depression, and anxiety. We know that You are a God of peace, and we ask that You will fill their heart and mind with Your peace. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You.
We also pray for strength and self-control to channel their sexual urges in a righteous way. Help them to flee from sexual immorality and to honor You with their body.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You will raise up prayer warriors who will join us in fasting and praying for our brother/sister. We know that You are a God who hears and answers prayer, and we trust that You will work mightily in their life. We pray for all of this in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. For it is written in Acts 4:12 neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Lastly, remember that we have a loving Father in heaven who is always looking out for us and knows the desires of our hearts. This request should be made to God and not us. We have been called to pray for each other.
