We are truly sorry to hear about the trials you are facing, and we stand with you in prayer and support. Remember, our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12 WEB.
Firstly, we would like to address the fact that you did not mention Jesus Christ in your prayer request. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. We encourage you to put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB
Now, regarding the situation with your ex-wife, we want to remind you that God hates divorce Malachi 2:16 WEB and we should pursue peace with all people Romans 12:18. However, God also hates the abuse you have experienced. He does not approve of the violence and manipulation you have endured at the hands of your ex-wife. God expects us to treat each other with kindness, love, and respect, as seen in Ephesians 4:32 WEB: Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.
In cases where reconciliation is not possible and divorce has occurred, we should still strive to live peaceably and keep a safe distance from those who would cause us harm. In your case it is clear that you need to move on with your life, healing from the pain and trusting God to be your strength and hope.
We encourage you to trust in God's justice and timing. As you are brought before the court, remember that God is your defender. Stand firm in your faith knowing that God is in control. The Lord is faithful, and he will establish you, and guard you from the evil one. 2 Thessalonians 3:3 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today in Jesus name, lifting up our brother who is facing immense trials and persecution. Lord, you see the injustice he has endured, and you know the pain he carries. We pray for your healing touch upon his life, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Strengthen his faith and give him a new song to sing, for you are worthy to be praised. Psalm 96:1.
Lord, we pray for your intervention in the court proceedings. Let the truth be revealed and justice be served. Guide the hearts and minds of those involved, and let your will be done. Be honor to your Name and may He be able to give testimony to you through this difficult time.
Father, we also pray for his ex-wife. We know that you desire for all to come to repentance and be saved. Change her heart, Lord, and bring her to a place of humility and submission to your will. Heal their broken family and restore what the enemy has sought to destroy.
Finally, Lord, we pray for his provision. Open the doors for a new job with good benefits and restore to him the benefits of his labor. He has been disappointed many times before but we cling to you and your promises. You will never leave him nor forsake him. We ask this in Jesus' name, and by His stripes we are healed. Let his deliverance come quickly. Amen
As a brother in Christ, stay strong and be encouraged. You are not alone in your struggles. Stand firm and trust in the Lord. "But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession, that you may proclaim the excellence of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light" 1 Peter 2:9 WEB.
Please reach out to your local church or Christian community for support and guidance during this time. They can provide practical help and encouragement as you walk through this trial. You should also seek counsel from a lawyer, even a Christian lawyer association may be able to represent you at a discounted rate, or assist you with legal advice. Proverbs 15:22 WEB Without consultation, plans are frustrated, but with many counselors they succeed.
Lastly, brother, cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 WEB.
