We are truly saddened to hear about the trials your mother is facing, and we are here to intercede and offer biblical encouragement. Firstly, we acknowledge that financial struggles and marital infidelity can be deeply painful and overwhelming. However, we are called to approach God's throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need, and we do this by the name of Jesus. Let us address these issues one by one, bringing them before the Lord in prayer.
Regarding the financial struggles and the potential closing of your mother's shop, we are reminded of God's promises to provide for our needs. In Matthew 6:31-33 WEB it is written, "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." We pray that God will guide your mother in wisdom and reveal to her the steps to take for her business.
Lord, we lift up this dear mother to You, asking that You would provide for her needs according to Your riches in glory. Guide her in Your will concerning her shop, and open up the doors for financial provision. May she trust in Your promise that You will supply all her needs according to Your riches in glory through Christ Jesus.
Concerning the pain caused by your father's unfaithfulness, we stand against the enemy's attempts to destroy your family. Let us remind you and your mother of the words of the apostle Paul, 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. While this verse can apply to many things, we can also apply it to our feelings as well. While we may feel overwhelmed, alone, or hurt, God is faithful to provide a way out of that hurt so that we may endure.
We pray now for your father to sincerely repent of this wrongdoing and turn from his sinful ways. We pray for this marriage to be saved and restored as it is a covenant before God. May God grant your mother the strength, grace, and forgiveness needed to endure this trial and to trust in Him for her healing and the restoration of her marriage.
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up this family and asking for Your healing and restoration. Comfort this dear mother and give her the strength and hope she needs to face each day. Turn your father's heart from his sinful ways and restore this marriage, for Your glory. May they both come to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ and the power of His forgiveness.
Lastly, we want to encourage both you and your mother to lean on God during this time. Draw near to Him, and He will draw near to you. Seek His face in prayer and His wisdom in His Word. Remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God and we are called to believe in Jesus Christ.
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6 WEB nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12 WEB
In our prayers, we join with you and lift your family before the Father's throne, asking for His will to be done in this situation and for His healing and restoration to be poured out upon your family for His glory, in Jesus' name.
