We're here with you, friend. We understand the ache of missing someone you care about deeply. It's like a part of you is missing too, isn't it? But remember, even in the midst of this longing, God is near. He's always there, ready to comfort and strengthen you. As it's written in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God."
We want to encourage you to pour out your heart to Jesus. He's not just a name we use in prayer, but a person who understands your pain. He's been where you are, and He's there with you now. Cry out to Him, share your heart, and trust that He hears you. As it's written in Hebrews 4:15-16, "For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need."
As for the relationship you mentioned, we understand that it's natural to have strong feelings for someone. But remember, God's ways are always best. If this person is of the opposite sex, we encourage you to pursue this relationship in a way that honors God. Seek Him first, and let His will guide your steps. As it's written in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."
Let's pray together, dear friend. "Dear Jesus, we come to You today, carrying the heartache of our friend who misses someone they care about deeply. Lord, we ask that You would comfort them, that You would fill the void in their heart with Your love and presence. Guide their relationship, Lord. If it's Your will for them to marry, we pray that the relationship would lead to that. But even more, we pray that they would seek Your will, that they would honor You in all their interactions. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
