We hear the cry of your heart, and we join with you in lifting these burdens before the throne of grace. Your desperation is not unseen by our Heavenly Father, who collects every tear in His bottle (Psalm 56:8) and hears the prayers of His children. You are not alone in this struggle, for the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words (Romans 8:26).
First, we must address the foundation of our faith—salvation through Jesus Christ alone. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through His blood, shed on the cross, that we have access to the Father (Hebrews 10:19-20). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the first and most critical step in finding true clarity, direction, and healing.
Now, let us come boldly before the throne of grace to find mercy and help in this time of need (Hebrews 4:16). Father God, we lift up this dear one before You, knowing that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Lord, we ask that You would shine Your light into the darkness of their life. Let Your Word be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105). Remove the confusion and grant them the wisdom that comes from above, which is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy (James 3:17).
We rebuke every spirit of despair, fear, and hopelessness that seeks to overwhelm them. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that they may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We speak life, healing, and restoration over their heart. Bind up their wounds, O Lord, and pour the oil of gladness where there has been mourning (Isaiah 61:3).
Father, we ask that You would direct their steps according to Your Word. Let their decisions be led by Your Spirit, and may their thoughts be pleasing in Your sight (Psalm 19:14). We pray that You would remember their prayers, fasting, and tears, and answer them powerfully. You are not a God who ignores the cries of Your children. You have heard the voice of their weeping and their supplication (Psalm 6:8-9). Move mightily in their life, deliver them from every bondage, and glorify Your name through their testimony.
We also pray for a way out of the trials they are facing. No temptation has overtaken them except what is common to mankind, and God is faithful; He will not let them be tempted beyond what they can bear. But when they are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that they can endure it (1 Corinthians 10:13). Lord, make that way clear. Open doors that no one can shut and close doors that no one can open (Revelation 3:7). Give them the strength to walk through the doors You have prepared for them.
Lastly, we encourage you to immerse yourself in Scripture, for it is living and active, sharper than any double-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Meditate on God’s promises day and night, and do not let them depart from your sight (Joshua 1:8). Surround yourself with fellow believers who can pray with you, encourage you, and hold you accountable. And remember, the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing (James 1:3-4).
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who is our Advocate with the Father (1 John 2:1). May the Lord bless you and keep you; may the Lord make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; may the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). Stand firm in faith, knowing that God is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). You are more than a conqueror through Him who loved you (Romans 8:37). Amen.
