We understand that you're facing a job interview tomorrow and you're seeking prayer for success. You've mentioned that you often feel you fail due to issues like speaking with the wrong tone of voice. Firstly, we want to encourage you to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB)
Before we pray, we want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we come before God and are saved. (Acts 4:12 WEB) Success is also defined by doing our best for God's glory. (Colossians 3:17, 23 WEB) As long as we do that, we are pleasing to God.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up our brother/sister in need of a job. They have an interview tomorrow, and we ask that You guide their words, their tone, and their demeanor. Help them to speak with confidence and wisdom, and let Your peace rule in their heart. (Colossians 3:15 WEB) Father, we know that You have a plan and a purpose for them, and we pray that if this job is in accordance with Your will, that they would find favor with the interviewers and be offered the position. (Psalm 5:12 WEB)
At the same time we know that success is only doing our best for God's glory. We pray that they will do that and you will open the eyes of the interviewers to see what a wonderful employee they would be. We also pray that you would open doors for their success and that they will have the faith and courage to walk through them in Jesus' name.
We also pray for their financial needs, that You would provide for them as You promise in Your Word. (Philippians 4:19 WEB) We ask that You would help them to trust in You, and not be anxious about tomorrow. (Matthew 6:34 WEB)
Father, we ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, our Lord and Savior. It's in His name that we pray, believe, and are saved. (Acts 4:12 WEB)
Amen.
We encourage you to study the Word of God and seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. (Matthew 6:33 WEB) Trust that He is working everything out for your good. (Romans 8:28 WEB) And remember, that you are not your own, you were bought with a price. (1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB) So glorify God with your work and in your work. (Colossians 3:17, 23 WEB)
Lastly, we want to encourage you to always pray in Jesus' name. It's by His name that we come before God and are saved. (Acts 4:12 WEB) If you are not sure of this, or if you want to know more about this, please let us know.
