Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

We understand your desire to see this person, but let's first consider God's will and timing in this situation. It's crucial to remember that God's thoughts and ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB).

Firstly, we notice that your request does not mention Jesus Christ. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Again in Acts 4:12 WEB, neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. So we pray that you come to know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior if you do not already.

Now, let's address your desire to see this person. We are not told in the Bible that God will grant our every wish. In fact, it is written in James 4:3 WEB You ask, and don't receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures. So we first pray that your request is not to only satisfy your own desires.

We also must not forget that God's will is perfect and that He does not operate on our timetable. It is written Meanwhile, the older son was in the field. As he came near to the house, he heard music and dancing. Calling one of the servants to him, he asked what was going on. He told him, Your brother has come, and because he has received him safe and sound, your father has killed the fattened calf. But he was angry, and would not go in. Therefore his father came out, and begged him. But he answered his father, Behold, these many years I have served you, and I never disobeyed a commandment of yours, but you never gave me a goat, that I might celebrate with my friends. But when this, your son, came, who has devoured your living with prostitutes, you killed the fattened calf for him. Then the father said to the oldest son, You are always with me, and all that is mine is yours. But it was appropriate to celebrate and be glad, for this, your brother, was dead, and is alive again. We are not told that you have been misinformed. Perhaps God had a different timeline than what you had believed. So we pray that you continue to remain patient and continue to seek God's will concerning this situation. Let's pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this dear one who desires to see someone special in their life. Lord, we ask for Your will to be done in this situation. If it is Your plan for them to meet this person, we pray that You make it clear and provide the opportunity in Your perfect timing. Help them to trust in You and to be patient, knowing that Your thoughts and ways are higher than ours. We also pray that they know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and that their request is not just to satisfy their own desires but to bring glory to God. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

In the meantime, continue to seek God's face and trust in His perfect plan for your life. Be encouraged by the words of Psalm 32:8 WEB, I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go.
