We understand that you're longing to see someone who is very special to you, someone you consider your "favourite person." However, we are called to seek the Lord in all things.
We hear the pain of potential loss in your words, but we must also remember that God's ways are not our ways. Psalm 37:4-5: Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: We encourage you to delight in the Lord, and He will place the right desires in your heart, but it must be aligned with His will.
We must also address that your message did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God the Father. The book of Acts reminds us that there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
Also, we are concerned regarding the nature of this relationship. We must remember that God's design for romantic relationships is that they be between a man and a woman, ultimately leading to a God-honoring marriage. But from the beginning of the creation, God made them male and female. For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will join to his wife, and the two will become one flesh, so that they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this person who is experiencing deep longing and potential loss. We ask that You comfort them and guide their heart towards Your will. Help them to delight in You, Lord, and in Your timing and Your way, grant them the desires of their heart. We pray in Jesus Christ's saving name, Amen.
