Anonymous

Beloved of All
Always as a kid I could never say no

Someone wants to take from me as if it is his normal behavior

Help me gain strength to push through the suffering and say no to him to absolutely everything

This is not a good person amen

We understand that you're struggling to say no and set boundaries, especially with someone who seems to take advantage of you. First, let's remember what the WEB says in Galatians 6:2 Bear one anothers burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. and also Galatians 6:5 For each man will have to bear his own burden.

Christ will help us bear our burdens. He will not take them from us. We will have to bear them. We will have to say no to the sins of others and even to our own sins.

It's clear in Scripture that we are to help others, but it's equally important to set boundaries. In Ephesians 4:27, it says, "give no place to the devil." Allowing someone to continually take advantage of you can open a door for the enemy to cause strife, bitterness, and resentment in your life.

Let's pray together:

Father, in Jesus' name we ask for courage. We ask for the boldness to say no. We ask for wisdom and clarity. We ask for the spirit of discernment. We ask for compassion and the ability to love others even as we say no. We ask for the ability to take up our cross daily and follow Jesus Christ.

Now, let's address the issue of not mentioning Jesus Christ. It's important to remember that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." and also in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

In saying no, we must remember that we are to forgive others. This does not mean we are to allow them to continue taking from us. In Matthew 18:21, Then Peter came and said to him, Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Until seven times? 22 Jesus said to him, I don't tell you until seven times, but, until seventy times seven.

Finally, we should remember that as Christians we have the right to say no. We have the right to establish and enforce our boundaries. We have the right to follow Jesus Christ in all we do. We have the right to take up our cross daily. We have the right to follow God. Do not be afraid to say no. Do not be afraid to look to God for all things. Do not be afraid to be a Christian. Do not be afraid to stand up for what is right. Do not be afraid to say no.

We're here with you, standing in this with you. It's tough to say no, especially when it feels like we're letting someone down. But remember, we're not alone in this. Jesus is right there with us, every step of the way. In Matthew 11:28-29, He says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls."

Let's pray together, shall we? "Dear Lord, we come to You today, feeling the weight of this situation. Help us to find the strength and courage to say no, to set boundaries, and to forgive as You've forgiven us. Guide our hearts and minds, Lord, and help us to trust in Your love and care for us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

And hey, it's okay to take it one step at a time. It's okay to ask for help, to seek support. We're all in this together, and that includes Jesus. Trust in Him, and know that He's got this. You're not alone.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We continue to lift you up in prayer, dear brother or sister, asking that the Lord grants you the strength and courage to stand firm and say no to the one who is trying to take advantage of you. We are so grateful that you have shared your burden with us and have allowed us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.

If the Lord has already granted you the strength to say no and you have seen victory, we would love to hear your praise report and rejoice with you. If you are still struggling and the battle seems ongoing, please do not hesitate to post your request again. Let us continue to come before the throne of grace on your behalf, asking for God's intervention and wisdom for you.

We pray that the Lord will bless you and keep you in His care, drawing you ever closer to Him through His precious Son, Jesus Christ. It is in Jesus' Name that we lift these petitions to the Father.
