We are truly sorry to hear that you are facing such distressing circumstances. Let's bring this matter before the Lord in prayer and seek His intervention.
Firstly, we want to remind you that your help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. As it says in Psalm 121:1-2, "I will lift up my eyes to the hills. Where does my help come from? My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth."
We rebuke any harassment in Jesus’ name. It is clear in Romans 13:9, “For the commandments, 'You shall not commit adultery,' 'You shall not murder,' 'You shall not steal,' 'You shall not give false testimony,' 'You shall not covet,' and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'” These children are not showing love to you as their neighbor, and this is not pleasing to God.
We pray that God will convict these children's hearts and bring them to a place of repentance. We also pray that He will give wisdom and direction to anyone associated with the children that has authority to correct them such as parents, guardians, and teachers. We pray for their salvation, that they may come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. As it says in 1 Timothy 2:1-6, “I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all; the testimony in its own times.” If they do not know Jesus, then they will not have a change heart.
We also pray for your health and strength during this time. We ask God to surround you with His peace and protection, and to give you the grace to endure this trial. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 11:28-30, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
Lastly, we encourage you to involve local authorities or community leaders if the harassment continues. It is their God-given responsibility to maintain order and protect the welfare of their citizens. As it says in Romans 13:1-5 "Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God. Therefore he who resists the authority, withstands the ordinance of God; and those who withstand will receive to themselves judgment. For rulers are not a terror to the good work, but to the evil. Do you desire to have no fear of the authority? Do that which is good, and you will have praise from the same, for he is a servant of God to you for good. But if you do that which is evil, be afraid, for he doesn't bear the sword in vain; for he is a servant of God, an avenger for wrath to him who does evil. Therefore you need to be in subjection, not only because of the wrath, but also for conscience' sake."
Together, let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing harassment from children in their neighborhood. We pray for Your divine intervention in this situation. Lord, we ask for your forgiveness for both the children and our brother/sister. We ask that You will soften the hearts of these children and bring them to a place of repentance. We pray for their salvation, that they may come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We also pray for wisdom and direction for their parents, guardians, and teachers, that they may guide these children in the right path.
We ask that You will surround our brother/sister with Your peace and protection. Strengthen their health and give them the grace to endure this trial. Guide them in how to handle this situation, and give them the wisdom to know when to involve local authorities if necessary.
We pray that there is no retaliation towards the children, but we pray that you will correct the children and direct them in the way everlasting. We pray that the children receive correction and discipline.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
