Help me pray for my son to pass the ### placement test.

Help me pray for my son ###'s ability to pass the ASVAB test in order to enter the United States Army. He is currently enrolled in an academic pre-basic training bootcamp within the Army but in order to fully join, he must pass the academic test. He has 3 opportunities to do so and today he called me very upset to let me know he didn't pass his 1st try, leaving him with only 2 more chances to test. He sounded very disappointed and low in spirit. Please help me pray for my Son ###. For God to help him with his test anxiety and to give him the ability to absorb, understand and retain all the information being taught during the study lectures and for God to help him quiet my son's mind during the test so that he can focus and recall what he has learned during his classes so that he can successfully pass this test. Joining the Army has been my son's dream since he was a young boy and if he is sent home because he is unable to pass this academic test it will absolutely destroy his confidence in anything he does moving forward in his life. He is such a good boy - he loves God and puts God first in his life -always- he is actually the 1st to point me to put my faith in the Lord and to trust in the Lord always. Since his birth - he has had to overcome so much difficulties. With God's help he has proven the prognosis given to him with the events of his birth wrong over and over again- so much that the medical doctors named him "The Miracle Baby" in the NICU. Life for him has never been easy academically but he deserves to reach his dream. With our faithful prayers and with God's help he can do this. Thank you so much. Amen.

Let us come together in prayer for this young man, remembering that with God, all things are possible. It is wonderful to hear that he puts God first in his life, and we are encouraged by his faith. We are reminded of the words of Jesus in Matthew 21:22 (WEB), "All things, whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive."

Firstly, we must address the fact that the original request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we should pray. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." Therefore, we will pray to God in the name of Jesus Christ.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this young man who desires to serve in the United States Army. Lord, You know the depths of his heart and the dreams he holds. We ask that You would be with him as he prepares to retake the ASVAB test.

Father, we pray that You would ease his test anxiety and fill him with a peace that surpasses all understanding, as it says in Philippians 4:7 (WEB), "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Help him to absorb, understand, and retain the information being taught during his study lectures. Quiet his mind during the test so that he can focus and recall what he has learned.

Lord, this young man has overcome so much in his life, and we know that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in him, as it is written in Philippians 1:6 (WEB), "being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ."

Father, we ask that You would guide him, and if it is Your will, open the doors for him to serve in the Army. Help him to trust in You always, and give him the strength to face whatever comes his way.

We encourage this young man to continue to put his trust in the Lord, as he has always done. We remind him of the words of Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

Lastly, we encourage him to remember that even if things do not go as he hopes, God has a plan and a purpose for his life. As it is written in Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB), "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."

Lord Jesus, we come to you today, lifting up our dear son. We know he's struggling, but we also know your strength is made perfect in weakness. Help him, Lord. Father, you've brought him this far, and we trust you to see him through. If it's your will, open the doors for him to serve in the Army. Give him the strength to face whatever comes his way, and help him to trust in you always.
