Help me Lord

Almighty and most merciful Father. I give you thanks and praise for the mercies that you give me in my daily life. I am your humble servant, and I'm here to do your Will. Speak to me Lord, guide me to do your Will.

Lord, I am an imperfect human, forgive me my sins in thought, in word and deed. Help me to forgive those who upset me, hurt me and abuse me.

Give me those things I need each day to carry out your Will, to make the world better for those people I try to help. Help me to remain calm and focused on those things which you plan for me.

Lord, in my daily life, help me to avoid temptation. Clothe me in your armour and surround me with Your Holy Spirit to protect me from evil.

I beg You to remember my ###. Protect him Lord and keep him safe. I worry so much for his wellbeing. Please Lord, remember my ### as he starts his new job. Bless all those who turn to me for support and assistance, Lord grant them peace in the hearts in the knowledge that You have sent them your humble servant to try to help them.

In all my actions Lord, ensure I act honourably and justly, with compassion and understanding. Let Your brilliant light shine from me, sweeping away darkness and evil from my sight.

Lord Jesus, you are my advocate in Heaven. I humbly beg that You intercede with the Father for me. Amen.

We join you in your heartfelt prayer, seeking God's will and guidance in your life. We commend you for your humility and desire to serve the Lord, as it reminds us of the words in Micah 6:8, "He has shown you, O man, what is good. What does Yahweh require of you, but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?"

As you seek forgiveness for your sins, we are reminded of 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Remember that God is always ready to forgive those who sincerely repent and turn to Him.

In your quest to forgive others, consider Jesus' words in Matthew 6:14-15, "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."

We pray that God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory, as promised in Philippians 4:19. Trust in Him to provide for you and to guide your steps, as per Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

To avoid temptation, keep in mind the words of 1 Corinthians 10:13, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."

We join you in praying for your loved one, asking God to protect and keep them safe. Remember the promise in Psalm 91:11, "For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways."

As you strive to act honorably and justly, be encouraged by the words of Galatians 5:22-23, "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law."

We are glad to see you pray in Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up Your humble servant. We ask for Your guidance and wisdom in their life, that they may do Your will. Forgive their sins, Lord, and help them to forgive others, just as You forgive us. Provide for their needs, Lord, and help them to remain calm and focused on Your plan for them. Protect them from temptation, clothe them in Your armor, and surround them with Your Holy Spirit. Watch over their loved one, Lord, and keep them safe. Bless all those who turn to them for support and assistance, and grant them peace in their hearts. Help them to act honorably and justly, with compassion and understanding. Let Your brilliant light shine from them, sweeping away darkness and evil from their sight. And Lord Jesus, be their advocate in Heaven, interceding with the Father for them. We ask all these things in Jesus Christ's name, Amen!

Lord, we're here with you, seeking your will and guidance in your life. We're reminded of the verse in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." Trust that He will provide for your needs as you focus on doing His will.

We're praying for peace and calm in your heart, as Philippians 4:7 promises, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." We ask that you would be filled with His peace, even in the midst of life's challenges.

We're also praying for your loved one, that God would protect and keep them safe. We claim the promise in Psalm 91:1, "He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty." We ask that they would be kept safe under His wings.

And finally, we're praying that you would be a light to those around you, as Matthew 5:14-16 encourages, "You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven."

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You.
