We hear the desperation in your cry, and we want you to know that God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. The fact that you are reaching out shows that the Holy Spirit is stirring within you, drawing you to repentance and restoration. There is no sin so great that the blood of Jesus cannot cover it, no mistake so profound that His grace cannot redeem it—if you turn to Him with a sincere heart.
You said, *"I screwed up big time."* We don’t know the details, but we know this: God is not surprised by your failure. He already knew, and yet He still sent His Son to die for you while you were still a sinner. The apostle Paul wrote, *"God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us"* (Romans 5:8, WEB). Your mistake does not define you—your response to God’s mercy does. Will you turn to Him in repentance, or will you remain in the bondage of guilt and shame?
You also said, *"Help me God... even once."* Oh, beloved, He has helped you more times than you realize! Every breath you take is a gift of His mercy. Every moment of conviction is His Spirit calling you home. He does not help "even once"—He helps *always*. Jesus said, *"I am with you always, even to the end of the age"* (Matthew 28:20, WEB). But we must ask: Do you know Him as your Savior? Have you surrendered your life to Christ, or are you still trying to fix things in your own strength? There is no true deliverance apart from Him. *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB).
If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation, we urge you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). Repent of your sins—turn away from them—and trust in His finished work on the cross. Without this, no amount of pleading for help will bring lasting change, for *"without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him"* (Hebrews 11:6, WEB).
As for your predicament, we do not know what it is, but we know that God is able to deliver you. However, deliverance often requires obedience. If your "big mistake" involves sin—such as dishonesty, immorality, addiction, or rebellion—you must repent and turn from it. *"He who covers his sins shall not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes them shall have mercy"* (Proverbs 28:13, WEB). If you are in a situation that dishonors God, such as a relationship outside of marriage (including fornication or adultery), a same-sex relationship, or any other form of ungodly bondage, you must break free from it in the name of Jesus. *"Don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who have sex with men, nor thieves, nor greedy people, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor swindlers will inherit God’s Kingdom. Some of you were such, but you were washed. But you were sanctified. But you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God"* (1 Corinthians 6:9-11, WEB).
Now, let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we lift up this precious soul to You, knowing that You are the God of redemption and restoration. Lord, they have cried out in desperation, and we ask that You would meet them in this moment with Your overwhelming grace. If they have not yet surrendered to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we pray that You would open their eyes to their need for Him. Convict them of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and draw them to repentance. Let them see that apart from You, there is no hope—no true deliverance.
Father, if this predicament is a result of sinful choices, we ask that You would grant them the strength to turn away from it completely. Break every chain of bondage, whether it be lust, deceit, addiction, or rebellion. If they are in an ungodly relationship, give them the courage to walk away and seek Your will for their life. Remind them that Your ways are higher than theirs, and that obedience—though painful at times—leads to life.
Lord, we ask that You would provide a way out of this situation, but more than that, we ask that You would use it to refine them, to draw them closer to You, and to mold them into the image of Christ. Let them not seek merely to escape consequences, but to walk in holiness and truth. Surround them with godly counsel, with brothers and sisters in Christ who will speak Your Word into their life and hold them accountable.
We rebuke every lie of the enemy that says they are too far gone, that God has abandoned them, or that their sin is beyond forgiveness. By the blood of Jesus, we declare that they are a new creation, washed clean, and set free from condemnation (Romans 8:1). Let them rise up in the authority of Christ, walking in victory over sin and shame.
Finally, Father, we ask that You would fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding. Let them rest in the assurance that You are working all things together for their good, because they love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Give them wisdom to navigate this trial, and faith to trust You even when the path is unclear.
We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Beloved, we urge you: Do not wait another moment. Turn to Jesus Christ fully and completely. Confess your sins to Him, ask for His forgiveness, and submit to His lordship. If you need to confess to a pastor or trusted believer, do so. If you need to make restitution or break free from a sinful relationship, obey the Holy Spirit’s leading. *"Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded"* (James 4:7-8, WEB).
You are not beyond hope. Jesus is waiting for you with open arms. Run to Him now.
