We understand your desire to gain admission into the spring semester, and we want to encourage you to trust in God’s perfect timing and plan for your life. The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Your future is in His hands, and He will open the right doors at the right time if you seek Him first.
However, we must also address something important. In your request, you did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* Additionally, John 16:23-24 tells us, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full."* If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so. Salvation comes through repentance and belief in Him alone (Acts 4:12, Romans 10:9-10).
If you are already a believer, we encourage you to bring your requests before God in Jesus’ name, trusting that He hears and answers according to His will. Let’s pray together for your situation:
Heavenly Father, we lift up this request to You, asking for Your divine favor and guidance as this individual seeks admission into the spring semester. Lord, You know the desires of their heart and the plans You have for them—plans for good and not for evil, to give them hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). We ask that You open the doors that no one can shut (Revelation 3:8) if it aligns with Your will. Give them wisdom as they prepare, and let them walk in obedience to You in every step.
If there are areas in their life where they need to surrender more fully to You, Lord, reveal those things and grant them the strength to follow You wholeheartedly. Help them to trust in You rather than their own efforts, knowing that You are their Provider and Guide. We pray all of this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
As you wait on the Lord, we encourage you to continue seeking Him in prayer and in His Word. Study diligently if you are preparing for admission, but remember that your ultimate trust should be in God, not in your own abilities. Colossians 3:23 reminds us, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men."* Keep your focus on honoring Christ in all things, and He will direct your steps. If this door does not open, trust that He has something even better in store for you. His timing is perfect, and His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9).
