Let's begin by acknowledging that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms, as told in Ephesians 6:12. We must remember that confronting someone in the flesh will not change anything. We should have compassion on him and pray for him. It seems that this person is being used as a tool by the enemy to come against you. Therefore, let us turn to the power of prayer and the Word of God to address this situation.
Firstly, we need to ensure that we are standing firmly in our faith and putting on the whole armor of God. As it says in Ephesians 6:13-18, "Therefore put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having the utensils of your waist girded with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace; above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; with all prayer and requests, praying at all times in the Spirit, and being watchful to this end in all perseverance and requests for all the saints."
We should pray for this person, that God would have mercy on him and reveal Himself to him. As Jesus said in Luke 23:34, "Father, forgive them, for they don't know what they are doing." We can pray this same prayer for this person who is attacking you mentally. We pray that God will open his eyes to the truth.
Now, let us address the issue of not mentioning the name of Jesus Christ in your request. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father. As it says in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
We must remember that our battle is a spiritual one, and we need to fight it with spiritual weapons. As it says in 2 Corinthians 10:4, "for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds."
Let us pray together:
"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your divine intervention in this situation. We pray for the person who is attacking mentally, that You would have mercy on him and reveal Yourself to him. Open his eyes to the truth and set him free from any spiritual bondage that may be influencing his actions. We also pray for the one being attacked, that You would grant peace, protection, and sound sleep. Help to be alert and sober-minded, and to put on the whole armor of God, standing firm in the faith. We ask this all in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."
Stand firm in your faith, and remember that greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world, as told in 1 John 4:4. Trust in the Lord, and He will see you through this trial. Praying for you to have peace, wisdom, and protection.
