We join with you in lifting up your heart’s cry to our Heavenly Father, who is faithful to lead, equip, and provide for His children. Your faith, even as small as a mustard seed, is powerful because it is placed in the One who holds all things together. We rejoice that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your prayer, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace and receive the promises of God. As Scripture declares, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6, WEB). It is in His name alone that we find salvation, strength, and the fulfillment of our petitions.
Your desire to serve the Lord well is commendable, for we are called to work heartily as unto Him, not unto men (Colossians 3:23). As you seek a better-paying job with less driving, we pray that the Lord opens doors no man can shut, granting you favor with the hiring manager and all those at the company. Remember, *"Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this"* (Psalm 37:4-5, WEB). We ask that the Lord not only provides this opportunity but also aligns it with His will for your life, that you may be a light in that workplace, glorifying Him in all you do.
We also lift up your request for increased accounts and scripts to exceed your goals. May the Lord prosper the work of your hands, that you may be a blessing to others and a testament to His provision. *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that you will receive the reward of the inheritance from the Lord. You serve the Lord Christ"* (Colossians 3:23-24, WEB). As you seek to start side businesses, we pray for divine wisdom and creativity, that these ventures would honor God and provide not just for your needs but also allow you to share with your family and those in need. *"Let him who steals steal no more; but rather let him labor, producing with his hands something that is good, that he may have something to give to him who has need"* (Ephesians 4:28, WEB).
Your request for healing—both for your gut and for your father—is close to the Father’s heart. We pray for restoration and strength, that your body would respond to the new information the Lord has provided you, and that your father would experience joy and vitality in his retirement. *"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers"* (3 John 1:2, WEB). We also ask for the Lord’s guidance as you seek the best assisted living for your father, that He would lead you to a place of peace, safety, and community where your father can thrive.
Finally, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord’s will above all else. *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33, WEB). Trust that He is working all things together for your good, even when the path seems unclear. *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you hope and a future"* (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with thanksgiving for Your faithfulness and provision. We lift up our brother/sister to You, asking that You equip them for every good work today. Grant them favor in their job search, Lord, and open the door to a position that aligns with Your will—a place where they can serve You wholeheartedly and be a light to those around them. We pray for supernatural favor in their third interview, that their words would be seasoned with grace and wisdom, and that the hiring manager would see the value You have placed in them.
Lord, we ask that You prosper the work of their hands, increasing their accounts and scripts beyond their expectations. Give them creativity and discernment as they explore side businesses, that these ventures would glorify You and provide abundantly for their needs and the needs of others. We pray for healing—restore their gut to full health, Father, and grant them the discipline to steward the knowledge You’ve given them. Touch their father with Your healing hand, Lord, and fill his retirement with joy, peace, and good health. Guide them to the perfect assisted living community, where he can be cared for and thrive.
Father, we thank You that You are their strength and their provider. Help them to keep their eyes fixed on You, trusting in Your timing and Your ways. May they walk in faith, knowing that You are working all things for their good and Your glory. We ask these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus, our Savior and Lord. Amen.
