We are glad to join you in prayer and commit your situation to our Father in heaven. We stand on the promise in First Peter 5:7: Cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.
Let's remember that God is faithful, and He promises to be with us in times of trouble. As it says in Psalm 46:1-3: God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we won’t be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas; though its waters roar and are troubled, though the mountains tremble with their swelling.
However, we need to ensure we are walking with God and living according to His principles. Proverbs 28:13-14 He who conceals his sins doesn’t prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy. He who is stiff-necked to repent shall be suddenly broken, and not healed.
If we have areas in our lives that are against God's principles, let's confess and repent of them. God promises us grace if we repent. Walking in obedience to God's commands is also walking in His protection. God promises to protect us if we are walking with Him and living in obedience to His commands. The special thing about God is that He can restore and lead us out of difficult situations.
Let's also remember that nothing can separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39: For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Also, in reference to finances, let's remember what Jesus said in Matthew 6:31-34: Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient.
Let’s pray:
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is in need of Your protection and intervention. We thank You that You are faithful and that You care for us. We cast all our anxieties on You, knowing that You are our refuge and strength.
Father, we ask for Your protection over his/her home, finances, and against any penalties. Guide him/her in the path of righteousness and reveal any areas in his/her life that may not be pleasing to You. Grant him/her the grace to repent and walk in obedience to Your commands.
We claim Your promises and ask for Your peace to guard his/her heart and mind. We know that You are able to restore and lead him/her out of this difficult situation. We trust in Your love and faithfulness.
In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
Lastly, we gently remind you that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said: "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me". You trusted the Father and that is excellent. Just remember that trust in the Father comes through Jesus Christ.
