Help in a tough ongoing circumstance

Beloved of All
Wife's repeatedly said there’s no hope for us. Our son’s months old and I see him very little in an unstructured manner which keeps me “on call” from 4pm to Midnight or later, for her to give me <10mins a day with my son. I pay her a day's wages for <10 mins. I can't afford that even.

I don’t deal with depression much. Never really have, though I've always been sympathetic to it, I haven't always known what to do to help others. I've benefited from "inner healing" and "Christian counseling" personally, yet I have in no means gotten practiced in it enough to help others, but I'm willing to try it on myself.

Please pray I can fast and pray, and God heals me and recommissions me. I might need legal advice and professional grief and trauma enlightenment, though I’ve not sought it out since she deserted me in this past March. Let me do nothing on my own initiative, but let me be led by the Holy Spirit. Thank you for praying in Jesus Name.

We stand with you in this heartbreaking season, brother, and we are deeply grieved by the brokenness in your marriage and the unjust separation from your son. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we declare that God is a restorer of what has been broken and a redeemer of what has been lost. Your wife’s words of hopelessness do not have the final authority—our God specializes in bringing life where there is death, hope where there is despair, and reconciliation where there is division. We rebuking the spirit of despair, division, and financial oppression in Jesus’ name, and we command every ungodly stronghold in your wife’s heart to be broken by the power of the Holy Spirit.

The Scriptures are clear: marriage is a covenant before God, not to be severed by human will but upheld by His grace and truth. *"What therefore God has joined together, don’t let man tear apart"* (Matthew 19:6). Your wife’s actions—and the emotional and financial toll they’ve taken on you—are not aligned with God’s design for marriage or parenthood. Fathers are called to raise their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4), and it is unjust for you to be denied this sacred responsibility while also being financially exploited. This is not only emotionally cruel but also a distortion of biblical stewardship. We pray that the Lord exposes any deception or hardness of heart in your wife and softens her toward repentance and restoration. If she refuses to turn from this path, we pray the Lord grants you wisdom, legal favor, and provision to secure your rights as a father and protect your son from further emotional harm.

Your willingness to fast, pray, and seek the Lord’s leading is commendable. Fasting breaks yokes (Isaiah 58:6) and positions us to hear God’s voice more clearly. We join you in praying for supernatural strength during this time, that the Lord would sustain you physically, emotionally, and spiritually as you seek Him. *"But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint"* (Isaiah 40:31). We also pray for divine connections—godly counselors, legal advocates, and brothers in Christ who can walk alongside you with wisdom and discernment. Do not carry this burden alone; the body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2).

As for your son, we declare that no weapon formed against his life—emotionally, spiritually, or relationally—will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray that the Lord would supernaturally bond your heart to his, even in these stolen moments, and that your son would grow up knowing his father’s love and commitment. We also rebuke any spirit of fatherlessness or rejection that the enemy may try to sow in his life. *"Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward"* (Psalm 127:3). Your son is *your* heritage, and we pray the Lord restores your rightful place in his life.

Brother, we sense the Lord speaking to your heart: *"Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness"* (Isaiah 41:10). This is not the end of your story. The God who parted the Red Sea, who raised Lazarus from the dead, and who turned Saul the persecutor into Paul the apostle is the same God who holds your marriage and your son’s future. Trust Him, even when the path seems impossible.

We also want to gently address something critical: you mentioned the need for "professional grief and trauma enlightenment." While we absolutely affirm the value of godly counseling, we urge you to ensure that any counsel you receive is *biblically grounded*. Secular psychology often contradicts Scripture, and well-meaning but worldly advice can lead you further from God’s truth. Seek counselors who are firmly rooted in the Word and filled with the Holy Spirit. *"Beware that you don’t get caught up in the traditions of men, in the basic principles of the world, and not in Christ"* (Colossians 2:8).

Lastly, we celebrate your heart to be led by the Holy Spirit. This is the posture every believer must take—surrendering our own understanding and leaning entirely on Him (Proverbs 3:5-6). As you fast and pray, ask the Lord to reveal any areas in your own heart that need repentance or healing. Sometimes, the enemy gains a foothold through unresolved bitterness, unforgiveness, or fear. *"Search me, God, and know my heart. Try me, and know my thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way"* (Psalm 139:23-24).

**Our Prayer for You:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother, who is walking through a valley of deep sorrow and injustice. Lord, You see his pain—the rejection of his wife, the theft of time with his son, the financial strain, and the emotional weight he carries. We ask that You would be his ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Strengthen him supernaturally, Father, and let him feel Your arms holding him up when he feels weak.

Lord, we pray for a miracle in his marriage. Soften his wife’s heart, convict her of the wrong she has done, and draw her to repentance. If it is Your will, restore this marriage in a way that brings You glory. But if she hardens her heart further, grant our brother the wisdom of Solomon, the boldness of David, and the favor of Joseph as he navigates legal and practical steps to protect his son and his future.

We declare that every scheme of the enemy against this family is exposed and rendered powerless. No weapon formed against our brother or his son will prosper. Father, provide for him financially—open doors for stable income, godly counsel, and legal support that aligns with Your will. Let him not be led by fear or desperation but by Your Spirit alone.

Lord, we pray for his son—that You would guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Let this little one grow up knowing his father’s love and, more importantly, *Your* love. Protect him from emotional harm and use even this broken situation for his good and Your glory.

Holy Spirit, fill our brother afresh. Lead him into all truth (John 16:13), comfort him in his grief, and recommission him for the purpose You have for his life. Let this season of fasting and prayer be a turning point—where chains are broken, vision is restored, and faith is strengthened.

We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Redeemer and Restorer. Amen.

We're here with you, brother, in this tough time. We've been thinking about you and your situation, and we want you to know that you're not alone. We're praying for you, for your wife, and for your son.

First, we want to encourage you to keep seeking God in this. Fasting and praying are powerful tools that God has given us to connect with Him and to receive His strength and guidance. We believe that as you continue to seek Him, He will reveal more of His will and His plan for your family.

We also want to encourage you to reach out to others in the body of Christ. As it says in Galatians 6:2, "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." This means that we're called to come alongside each other in times of need and to support one another. Don't try to carry this burden alone. Reach out to trusted friends, mentors, or even a pastor who can pray with you, offer guidance, and provide a listening ear.

Remember, God is with you in this. He sees your pain, He hears your cries, and He cares deeply about what you're going through. Trust in Him, even when the path seems uncertain. He is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).

We're praying for a miracle in your marriage, for your wife's heart to be softened, and for your son to be protected and blessed. We're also praying for provision and wisdom for you as you navigate this situation. Trust in God, and keep seeking His face.

You're in our thoughts and prayers, brother. Keep fighting the good fight, and remember that God is fighting for you.
