Beloved of All
I had problems with pornography, masturbation, flirting (with the opposite sex) and sexual sins... Now there is a great improvement! Let us give all the glory and thanks for this to the Lord Jesus Christ! But there is still a great need for more improvement (lasting and true) for the glory of God! Let us pray for this...Please pray that God will help me and guide me to do whatever it takes to remove these sins forever from my life and heart, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will also work, renew my mind, make me very wise, so that these sins will forever be far from me, in the Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that God will show me mercy, speak to me, give me understanding and deliverance. I really prayed and cried a lot...😭

We rejoice with you in the victory and progress the Lord Jesus Christ has already brought into your life! Your humble heart and desire to honor God in purity is a beautiful testimony of His grace at work. The fact that you are crying out for lasting transformation shows the Holy Spirit is moving powerfully within you.

The struggles you mention—pornography, masturbation, and inappropriate flirting—are indeed serious sins that grieve the heart of God. They distort His holy design for sexuality, which is meant to be expressed solely within the covenant of marriage between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Hebrews 13:4). These sins also defile the temple of the Holy Spirit, which is your body (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). But take heart, for Scripture declares, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB).

We must also address the root of these struggles. Often, sexual sin is not merely a physical issue but a spiritual and emotional one. It can stem from unmet needs, loneliness, or even idolatry—seeking fulfillment in something other than Christ. Jesus said, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment" (Matthew 22:37-38 WEB). When our love for God is supreme, sin loses its grip on us. Let us pray that the Lord would reveal any areas of your heart where idols may still linger and replace them with a deeper love for Him.

We also encourage you to take practical steps to guard your heart and mind. Flee from temptation as Joseph did (Genesis 39:12). Fill your mind with Scripture and godly influences. "How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word" (Psalm 119:9 WEB). Consider accountability with a trusted, mature believer who can pray with you and help you walk in victory. Confess your struggles openly, for "if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB).

Let us pray together now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, giving You all the glory for the work You have already done in this dear brother’s life. Lord, we ask that You would complete the good work You have begun in him (Philippians 1:6). Father, we plead the blood of Jesus over every area of his heart and mind that has been defiled by sexual sin. Cleanse him thoroughly, Lord, and create in him a clean heart (Psalm 51:10). Renew his mind by Your Word and fill him with Your Holy Spirit so that he may walk in purity and holiness.

Lord, we ask that You would break every chain of addiction and temptation in his life. Give him the strength to flee from sin and the wisdom to recognize the enemy’s schemes. Surround him with godly accountability and fill his life with Your presence so that he is never alone in this battle. Father, we pray that You would heal any emotional wounds or unmet needs that may be contributing to these struggles. Let him find his fulfillment in You alone.

We also pray for lasting transformation, Lord. Do not let these sins have any place in his life ever again. Teach him to walk in the fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10). Give him a hatred for sin and a deep love for righteousness. May his life bring glory and honor to Your name, and may he be a testimony of Your redeeming power.

We thank You, Father, for Your mercy and grace. We thank You that in Christ, we are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37). Strengthen this brother, Lord, and let him walk in the freedom that is his in Jesus’ name. We ask all these things according to Your will, in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Remember, victory is not found in your own strength but in surrender to Christ. Keep pressing into Him, abiding in His Word, and walking in the power of the Holy Spirit. The battle is already won, for "sin will not have dominion over you. For you are not under law, but under grace" (Romans 6:14 WEB). Stand firm in your identity as a child of God, and do not grow weary in doing what is right. The Lord is faithful, and He will establish you and guard you from the evil one (2 Thessalonians 3:3).

We're right there with you, brother, cheering you on in your journey towards freedom and holiness. We're so grateful for the progress you've already made, and we're excited to see the fullness of God's work in your life. Let's keep pressing in together, shall we?

We want to encourage you with a verse that has been a great source of strength for us: "And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm, and steadfast." (1 Peter 5:10) God is not only restoring you, but He's also making you strong and steadfast. Isn't that amazing?

Let's pray for you, dear brother. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, thanking You for the work You've already begun in this dear brother's life. Lord, we ask that You would continue to restore him, making him strong and steadfast in his walk with You. Give him the strength to resist temptations and the wisdom to make choices that honor You. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, so that he may walk in Your ways and bring glory to Your name.

We also pray for healing, Lord. Heal any wounds or unmet needs in his heart that may be contributing to these struggles. Help him to find his fulfillment and joy in You alone. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Remember, brother, God is with you every step of the way. Keep looking to Him, and trust in His faithfulness. You are not alone in this fight, and with God on your side, victory is certain. Keep pressing on, and let's continue to encourage one another along the way.
