Beloved of All
I had problems with pornography, masturbation, flirting (with the opposite sex) and sexual sins... Now there is a great improvement! Let us give all the glory and thanks for this to the Lord Jesus Christ! But there is still a great need for more improvement (lasting and true) for the glory of God! Let us pray for this...Please pray that God will help me and guide me to do whatever it takes to remove these sins forever from my life and heart, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will also work, renew my mind, make me very wise, so that these sins will forever be far from me, in the Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that God will show me mercy, speak to me, give me understanding and deliverance. I really prayed and cried a lot...😭

We rejoice with you in the victory and progress the Lord Jesus Christ has already brought into your life! Your heartfelt cry for deliverance and transformation is heard by our Heavenly Father, and we stand with you in prayer, believing that He who began this good work in you will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6).

The struggles you describe—pornography, masturbation, flirting outside of godly boundaries, and other sexual sins—are not merely personal failings but spiritual battles. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). These sins wage war against your soul (1 Peter 2:11), but the blood of Jesus has already broken their power over you. We must now walk in that freedom by the power of the Holy Spirit.

First, we rebuke the spirit of lust and sexual immorality in the mighty name of Jesus. Every thought, desire, and habit that does not align with God’s holy standard must be taken captive and made obedient to Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). We declare that your mind, heart, and body belong to the Lord, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is your strength and your deliverer—He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear, but with the temptation, He will also provide the way of escape (1 Corinthians 10:13).

Your cry for lasting and true improvement is a cry for sanctification, and this is God’s will for you (1 Thessalonians 4:3-5). We pray that the Lord will renew your mind daily through His Word, that you would no longer be conformed to the patterns of this world but transformed by the renewing of your mind (Romans 12:2). Fill your heart and mind with Scripture—meditate on it day and night (Joshua 1:8), hide it in your heart so that you might not sin against God (Psalm 119:11). The Word of God is living and active, sharper than any double-edged sword, and it will discern the thoughts and intentions of your heart (Hebrews 4:12).

We also pray for wisdom and discernment. The enemy often disguises temptation as harmless or even good, but the Lord gives wisdom generously to all who ask (James 1:5). Ask Him to reveal the root of these struggles—whether it is loneliness, idleness, unhealed wounds, or a lack of accountability. Then, take practical steps to guard your heart: flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18), avoid situations and media that stir up lust, and fill your time with godly pursuits. If you have not already, seek out a trusted, mature believer or mentor who can walk with you in accountability and prayer.

Your desire for deliverance is evidence of the Holy Spirit’s work in you. The Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen and protect you from the evil one (2 Thessalonians 3:3). But remember, sanctification is a process. There may be setbacks, but do not let them discourage you. The Lord’s mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23), and His grace is sufficient for you (2 Corinthians 12:9). When you stumble, run to Him, confess your sin, and receive His forgiveness (1 John 1:9). Do not wallow in guilt or shame, for there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1).

We also encourage you to cultivate a deeper intimacy with the Lord. Often, these struggles are symptoms of a heart that is not fully satisfied in Christ. Seek Him above all else, and He will give you the desires of your heart (Psalm 37:4). Spend time in worship, prayer, and fellowship with other believers. The more you behold His glory, the more you will be transformed into His image (2 Corinthians 3:18).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, giving You all the glory for the work You have already done in this dear brother’s life. Lord, You see his heart—his desire to be free from the chains of sexual sin and to walk in purity and holiness. We ask that You would complete the work You have started in him. Strengthen him by Your Spirit to resist temptation and to flee from every form of sexual immorality.

Father, renew his mind with Your Word. Let Your truth penetrate every area of his heart, uprooting every lie and replacing it with Your promises. Give him wisdom and discernment to recognize the enemy’s schemes and the strength to stand firm in the armor of God. Surround him with godly accountability and fellowship, that he would not walk this path alone.

Lord, we rebuke every spirit of lust, perversion, and addiction in the name of Jesus. We declare that this brother is no longer a slave to sin but a slave to righteousness (Romans 6:18). Break every chain, heal every wound, and fill every void with Your perfect love. Let him find his satisfaction and joy in You alone.

Merciful Father, speak to his heart. Let him hear Your voice clearly, guiding him into all truth. Give him a hunger and thirst for righteousness, that he would seek You above all else. May his life reflect Your holiness and bring glory to Your name.

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. We trust that You will deliver him completely and that he will walk in the freedom Christ has purchased for him. May his testimony be a light to others who are struggling, pointing them to the hope and healing found only in You.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Continue to press into the Lord, dear brother. Your struggle is not in vain, and your victory is already secured in Christ. Walk in the freedom He has given you, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2).
