Beloved of All
I had problems with pornography, masturbation, flirting (with the opposite sex) and sexual sins... Now there is a great improvement! Let us give all the glory and thanks for this to the Lord Jesus Christ! But there is still a great need for more improvement (lasting and true) for the glory of God! Let us pray for this...Please pray that God will help me and guide me to do whatever it takes to remove these sins forever from my life and heart, in the Name of Jesus Christ. Let us pray that God will also work, renew my mind, make me very wise, so that these sins will forever be far from me, in the Name of Jesus Christ! Let us pray that God will show me mercy, speak to me, give me understanding and deliverance. I really prayed and cried a lot...😭

We rejoice with you in the victory and improvement the Lord has already granted you in overcoming these sins! It is truly by His power and grace that you have seen progress, and we join you in giving all glory and thanks to Jesus Christ, for He alone is worthy. Your heart’s cry for lasting transformation is a testament to the Holy Spirit’s work in you, and we stand with you in this battle, for the Lord is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you.

The sins you describe—pornography, masturbation, flirting, and other sexual immorality—are not just struggles of the flesh but attacks against the temple of the Holy Spirit, which you are as a believer. The Word of God is clear: *"Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s"* (1 Corinthians 6:18-20, WEB). These sins defile what God has declared holy, and they distort the purpose for which He created intimacy—within the covenant of marriage between a man and a woman. But take heart, for the blood of Jesus is more than sufficient to cleanse you from all unrighteousness, and His grace empowers you to walk in purity.

You have already tasted the Lord’s deliverance, and now you seek lasting freedom. This is a battle that must be fought not only with prayer but with radical obedience and a renewed mind. *"Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things"* (Philippians 4:8, WEB). The mind is the battleground, and what you feed it will either lead you to victory or back into bondage. You must starve the flesh of its sinful cravings by filling your heart and mind with the Word of God, worship, and accountability. *"How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word. I seek you with my whole heart. Don’t let me wander from your commandments. I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you"* (Psalm 119:9-11, WEB).

We also urge you to examine the triggers and patterns that have led you into these sins. Are there relationships, media, or habits that open the door to temptation? *"If your right eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and throw it away from you. For it is more profitable for you that one of your members should perish, than for your whole body to be cast into Gehenna"* (Matthew 5:29, WEB). This may mean cutting off certain friendships, deleting apps or social media, installing accountability software, or avoiding places where you are most vulnerable. True freedom often requires radical amputation of sin’s access points. Do not negotiate with temptation—flee from it as Joseph fled from Potiphar’s wife (Genesis 39:12).

Moreover, your struggle is not just against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of darkness. *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places"* (Ephesians 6:12, WEB). You must put on the full armor of God daily—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—and pray without ceasing. Fast if the Lord leads you, for some demons are only cast out by prayer and fasting (Matthew 17:21). You are not fighting alone; the Lord is your warrior, and His angels are dispatched on your behalf.

We also encourage you to seek godly accountability. *"Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective"* (James 5:16, WEB). Find a mature believer—preferably an older man of God who walks in purity—and share your struggles with him. Let him pray for you, check in on you, and encourage you in the faith. Isolation is the devil’s playground; community is God’s design for our protection and growth.

Lastly, remember that your identity is not defined by your struggles but by Christ’s victory over sin and death. You are a new creation in Him (2 Corinthians 5:17), and the old has passed away. When you stumble—and we all do—do not wallow in condemnation, for *"there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit"* (Romans 8:1, WEB). Repent quickly, receive God’s forgiveness, and press on toward the goal of holiness. The Lord’s mercy is new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23), and His grace is sufficient for you (2 Corinthians 12:9).

Now, let us pray together for your complete and lasting deliverance:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who seeks Your face for total freedom from the bondage of sexual sin. Lord, we thank You for the work You have already done in his life, for the improvement he has seen, and for his heart that longs to glorify You. You alone are worthy of all praise, and we declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, for this battle belongs to You.

Father, we ask that You would break every chain of lust, pornography, masturbation, and flirtation that has ensnared him. Uproot these sins from the depths of his heart and cast them into the sea of forgetfulness, never to return. Renew his mind by the washing of Your Word, and fill him with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding (Colossians 1:9). Let him meditate on whatever is pure, lovely, and praiseworthy, and give him a holy hatred for sin.

Lord, expose every hidden trigger, every stronghold, and every lie of the enemy that has kept him bound. Give him the courage to flee from temptation and to cut off anything that leads him into sin. Surround him with godly men who will stand with him in this fight, who will pray for him and hold him accountable. Let him not walk in shame or isolation but in the light of Your truth and the fellowship of Your saints.

We rebuke the spirit of lust, the spirit of perversion, and every demonic force that has sought to destroy his purity. By the blood of Jesus, we command these spirits to flee and never return. Fill him instead with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in the fruit of self-control, love, and joy. Let him experience the freedom that comes from abiding in You, for *"if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed"* (John 8:36, WEB).

Father, we ask for Your mercy and grace to sustain him. When he is weak, be his strength. When he is tempted, provide the way of escape (1 Corinthians 10:13). Let him know deep in his soul that he is Your beloved son, redeemed and set apart for Your purposes. Remove any lingering guilt or shame, and let him walk in the confidence of Your forgiveness and love.

We pray that You would give him a vision for the beauty of godly marriage and the sacredness of intimacy as You designed it. Let him pursue purity not out of legalism but out of love for You and a desire to honor the future spouse You may have for him. Guard his heart and his eyes, and let him be a vessel of honor, sanctified and useful for Your kingdom.

Lord, we trust that You who began this good work in him will be faithful to complete it (Philippians 1:6). We thank You in advance for the testimony of total deliverance that will bring glory to Your name. Let his life be a beacon of hope for others who are trapped in the same sins, that they too may turn to You and find freedom.

In the mighty and victorious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, brother, cheering you on in your journey towards lasting freedom. We're so encouraged by your progress and your heart's cry for complete transformation. Let's keep fighting together, shall we?

We want to encourage you to keep filling your mind with God's Word. It's our sword, our shield, and our lifeline. Make it your priority to meditate on it day and night. Remember, it's not just about reading, but about hiding it in your heart, as the psalmist said, "I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you" (Psalm 119:11).

Also, we want to remind you that God is not just a God of grace, but also a God of discipline. He disciplines those He loves (Hebrews 12:6). Sometimes, He allows trials and temptations to come our way to strengthen us and to draw us closer to Him. So, when you face temptation, remember that it's an opportunity for you to trust Him more and to grow in your faith.

Lastly, we want to remind you that you're not alone in this fight. We're here for you, and so is the entire body of Christ. Don't hesitate to reach out to us, to your church family, or to a trusted spiritual mentor when you need prayer, encouragement, or accountability.

Let's keep praying for you, brother, that God would grant you the grace to overcome these temptations and to walk in the fullness of His blessing. We believe in you, and we know that with God, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26).

Keep fighting the good fight, and remember, "He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it" (1 Thessalonians 5:24).
