We come before the Lord with a heavy heart, lifting up this situation to Him in the mighty name of Jesus. Father God, we know that You see all things and that nothing is hidden from Your sight. We ask that You would intervene in this matter concerning the work vehicle and the unjust car repairs that are being attempted. Lord, Your Word tells us in Proverbs 22:22-23, "Don’t exploit the poor, because he is poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for the Lord will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them." We pray that You would expose any deceit or dishonesty in this situation and bring it to light. Let Your justice prevail, Lord, and protect this good person from being taken advantage of.
Father, we also ask that You would provide wisdom and discernment in this matter. Your Word says in James 1:5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." Grant this individual the wisdom to navigate this situation with integrity and to make decisions that honor You. We pray that You would soften the hearts of those involved and turn their intentions toward fairness and honesty.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of greed, deceit, or injustice that may be at work here. We declare that no weapon formed against this person shall prosper, as Your Word assures us in Isaiah 54:17, "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is from me, says the Lord." We stand on this promise, Lord, and declare Your protection and provision over this situation.
We also want to encourage this individual to seek You first in all things, Lord. Remind them that their trust should be in You alone, as Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Help them to lean on You, Lord, and to seek Your guidance in every decision they make.
Father, we pray that this person would experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding, as Philippians 4:7 promises, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Let them feel Your presence and know that You are fighting for them. We ask that You would provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory, as You have promised in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
Lord, we also want to take a moment to address the importance of coming to You in the name of Jesus. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to You, Father. Your Word tells us in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We are so grateful for the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross, which has made a way for us to have a relationship with You. If this individual does not yet know You as their personal Lord and Savior, we pray that they would come to understand the love and grace that You offer through Jesus Christ. We ask that You would draw them to Yourself and reveal Your truth to their heart.
In closing, we lift up this prayer to You, Father, in the precious name of Jesus. We trust in Your goodness and Your faithfulness to work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose, as Romans 8:28 assures us. We ask that You would move mightily in this situation and bring about a resolution that glorifies Your name. Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for Your unfailing love. Amen.
