We are delighted to join you in prayer for our sister in Christ as she navigates through this important phase of her life. Let us come in agreement before the Lord.
Firstly, we are thankful that she acknowledges the Lord Jesus Christ and who delights in the prosperity of his servant, as mentioned in the request. God is our loving Father who loves to bless his children, that in Psalm 35:27, it is clearly written, "Blessed be the Lord, who delights in the prosperity of his servant".
When she is embarking on her final exams, let us pray with her that the Spirit of the Lord will illuminate her heart and mind, prompting her with the answers, and that she will be able to recall all that she has studied. As we read in James 1:5 "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."
As she seeks new accommodation and a job, we pray that our gracious Father would grant her favor in the sight of men, and that the right doors will open for her, for we know that it is the Lord who blesses us with every good gift and perfect gift from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom we know there is no variation or shifting shadow.
Regarding the creation of a social media channel for the Kingdom of God, we need to be very careful that it is the Lord's will and that it is used for His glory. There is nothing inherently wrong with social media, but we need to avoid the appearance of evil and make sure that it is a vehicle for reaching the lost or building up the body of Christ. This needs to be done while avoiding worldly trappings and the use of worldly wisdom or the knowledge of men. We need to be very careful to not emulate the world and that our efforts are not an exercise in vanity. Let us remember 1 Corinthians 3:19, "For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, 'He has taken the wise in their craftiness.'". We need to pray for discernment and wisdom in this area.
Finally, we join our hearts with yours, asking the Lord of the harvest to raise up laborers for his harvest field. As it was said by our Lord Jesus in Matthew 9:38, "Pray therefore that the Lord of the harvest will send out laborers into his harvest".
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before you today with thanksgiving for our sister and her heart to serve you. Lord, we commit her steps into your hands, asking that you will guide her through her final exams, granting her wisdom and understanding, and helping her to recall all that she has studied. We ask, Lord, that you will grant her favor as she seeks a new job and accommodation, and direct her steps to the right opportunities. We pray for discernment and wisdom in creating a social media channel for the kingdom of God, that it will be a vehicle for reaching the lost or building up the body of Christ and only be used for Your glory.
Lord, we ask that you will send out laborers into your harvest field, that many will be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. We ask all these things in the precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ, who gave himself as a ransom for many. Amen.
Please be aware that the only way to God is by the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by Jesus' name that we have access to God and it is the only name by which we can be saved.
