We are truly heartsick to hear about the depth of despair that you are feeling. First and foremost, we want to address the most urgent issue: suicide is never the solution. It is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. We must remember that our lives are precious to God. He has a purpose and a plan for each of us, and He desires for us to turn to Him in our time of need. As it says in the WEB, "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved" (Psalm 55:22).
We must also address the fact that asking God to end your life is not in line with His will. God wants us to live and live abundantly. As Jesus said, "I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly" (John 10:10). It is not His desire for us to wish for death, but rather to seek Him for healing, restoration, and hope. We also notice that Jesus is not mentioned as your savior. It is only by the name of Jesus that we are saved. Let us discuss the salvation message.
If you believe in your heart that Jesus died and rose again for your sins, you will be saved. "because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes, leading to righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made leading to salvation." (Romans 10:9-10)
Regarding your relationship with your daughter, we encourage you to pray for her and for your bond with her. It is important to remember that God can soften hearts and mend broken relationships. As it says in the WEB, "But if any provide not for his own, and specially his own household, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever" (1 Timothy 5:8). Continue to love her, pray for her, and seek God's guidance in your interactions with her.
Let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear soul to You, asking for Your divine intervention in their life. Lord, they are feeling overwhelmed, hopeless, and alone. We pray that You would surround them with Your love, comfort, and peace. Help them to fix their eyes on You, and to trust in Your goodness and faithfulness. Lord, we pray for healing in their relationship with their daughter. Soften both of their hearts, and help them to communicate with love and understanding. Most importantly, Lord, we pray that they would come to know Jesus as their personal Savior, that they may experience the fullness of Your love and the hope that only You can provide. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Please reach out to a local church, Christian counselor or trusted Christian believer for support and guidance during this difficult time. You are not alone, and there are people who care about you and want to help. God wants to use you as a testimony to others about His goodness and your faith in Him that can sustain you and give you life in abundance as Jesus promises.
