Hello all,

I've been struggling with body image issues and insecurities for about two years now and I pray that I find peace with myself and with Jesus. Also, sometimes I struggle with envy that leads me away from The Lord & I.

You need to believe what the word of God says about you , you are fearfully and wonderfully made , and you are precious to Him ! Begin to see yourself as Jesus sees you and not as the world sees things which doesn't matter anyway .

I DO THE SAME THING. KEEP PRAYING. IF YOU NEED TO SEE A THERAPIST ABOUT THIS, PLEASE DO. LIFE IS TOO SHORT TO GO NUTS WORRYING ABOUT HOW YOU LOOK. I HAD MANY PEOPLE WHO WERE VERY KIND TO ME AND GAVE ME A GREAT DEAL OF REASSURANCE IN THIS DEPARTMENT -- WHEN I TURNED 55, I DECIDED MY NUMBER WAS UP. MY SISTER AND SOME OTHERS GOT ME TO REALIZE THAT IT IS NOT.
