We lift up ### before the Lord with deep compassion, knowing that our God is the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and carries our burdens. The trials she faces—breast cancer, lymphoma, the heavy weight of obesity, physical weakness, and the deep sorrow of losing her husband—are overwhelming, but we serve a God who is greater than all these things. The Scriptures remind us in **Psalm 34:18-19**, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* ### is not forgotten; the Lord sees her suffering and is near to her in this valley.
We also recognize the spiritual and emotional battles she may be facing. The loss of a spouse is a profound grief, and it is possible that depression has taken root in her heart. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came to give life abundantly (**John 10:10**). If there are past traumas from childhood or unresolved pain, we ask the Lord to bring His healing touch to those wounds, for He is the God who binds up the brokenhearted (**Isaiah 61:1**). Let Him restore her joy and fill her with His peace that surpasses all understanding (**Philippians 4:7**).
Yet we must also address the physical struggles with wisdom and truth. Overweight and weakness can often be tied to emotional eating or a lack of strength to make changes, but the Lord gives us the power to take dominion over our bodies, which are temples of the Holy Spirit (**1 Corinthians 6:19-20**). We pray that ### would be filled with the supernatural strength of the Lord to make healthy choices, to eat in moderation, and to move her body as she is able. Let the Holy Spirit guide her to discipline and renewal, for *"bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things"* (**1 Timothy 4:8**).
As for her healing, we stand on the promise of **James 5:14-15**, which says, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We declare that the cancer and lymphoma must leave her body in the name of Jesus. Every cell that has been affected by sickness must be restored to divine health, for by His stripes, she *is* healed (**Isaiah 53:5**). Let the chemotherapy be effective without harmful side effects, and let her body respond with strength and vitality.
We also pray for her faith to rise above her circumstances. It is easy to grow weary in long trials, but let her fix her eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of her faith (**Hebrews 12:2**). May she be surrounded by believers who can encourage her, pray with her, and remind her of God’s promises. If she has not already, let her speak life over herself, declaring the Word of God over her situation. *"Death and life are in the power of the tongue; those who love it will eat its fruit"* (**Proverbs 18:21**). Let her words align with heaven’s truth: that she is healed, she is strong, and she is more than a conqueror through Christ (**Romans 8:37**).
Finally, we thank You, Father, that ###’s story is not over. You have plans for her, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give her a future and a hope (**Jeremiah 29:11**). Raise her up, Lord, as a testimony of Your healing power and faithfulness. Let her days be filled with Your joy, her body with Your strength, and her heart with unshakable faith.
**Our prayer:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of ###, lifting her up in the mighty name of Jesus. Lord, You are the God who heals, and we ask for Your divine touch upon her body. Remove every trace of cancer and lymphoma; let her cells be restored to perfect health. Give her the strength to overcome weakness and the discipline to care for her body as Your temple. Comfort her in her grief, Lord, and fill the empty places in her heart with Your love. Heal the wounds of her past and break every chain of depression or despair. Surround her with Your peace and Your people, that she may walk in faith and victory. We declare that she will live and not die, to proclaim the works of the Lord (**Psalm 118:17**). Let her testimony bring glory to Your name. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray, **Amen.**
