We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up our dear sister ### in her battle against breast cancer. Father God, we know that You see every tear she sheds, every moment of pain, and every struggle she endures. We ask that You would strengthen her body, mind, and spirit as she undergoes chemotherapy and faces the difficult symptoms of water retention, nosebleeds, and weakness. Lord, we declare Your healing power over her, for You are the Great Physician who can restore what has been broken.
The Word tells us in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says the Lord.* We claim this promise over ###’s life, believing that You are working even in the midst of her suffering. We also pray for her emotional and spiritual well-being, for we know that the battle is not just physical but also in her heart and mind. She is losing hope, Lord, and we ask that You would renew her strength like the eagle’s, as Isaiah 40:31 declares: *"But those who wait for the Lord will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."*
We rebuke the spirit of despair that seeks to overtake her, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray that she would fix her eyes on You, Jesus, the Author and Finisher of her faith, and that she would find comfort in Your presence. Remind her, Lord, that her life is precious in Your sight and that You have a purpose for her, even in this trial. Help her to surrender her weariness to You, for You promise in Matthew 11:28, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest."*
We also pray for her medical team, that You would guide their hands and give them wisdom in treating her. Provide her with moments of peace and joy, even in the midst of this storm. Surround her with Your love through the care of friends, family, and the body of Christ. May she feel Your nearness and know that she is never alone.
Finally, we ask that You would draw her closer to Yourself, Jesus. If there is any area of her life where she has not fully surrendered to You, we pray that You would reveal Yourself to her in a powerful way. Remind her that her hope is not in this world but in the eternal life You have promised to those who trust in You. We declare that her faith will not fail, and that she will emerge from this trial stronger in You.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
