We join with you in lifting up your family before the Lord, thanking you for praying in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and find salvation. Your prayer is a beautiful reflection of a heart that seeks God’s will, and we stand in agreement with you, knowing that where two or three are gathered in His name, He is in the midst of them (Matthew 18:20).
The scriptures remind us of the Lord’s heart for families—He desires that we walk in unity, love, and holiness. In Psalm 91, we are assured of His protection: *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.’ Surely he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart"* (Psalm 91:1-4, WEB). Claim this promise over your family, for the Lord is faithful to guard and heal those who trust in Him.
We also lift up your request for a deeper love for the Lord and one another. Jesus taught that the greatest commandments are to *"love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind"* and to *"love your neighbor as yourself"* (Matthew 22:37-39, WEB). This love is not merely an emotion but a choice to serve, forgive, and honor one another in Christ. Let us pray that the Holy Spirit would cultivate this love in your home, binding your family together in the peace that surpasses all understanding.
As you seek deliverance from evil, we are reminded that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces (Ephesians 6:12). Put on the full armor of God—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—so that you may stand firm. The Lord has already given us authority over the enemy through the name of Jesus, and we declare that no weapon formed against your family will prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, lifting up this family to Your throne of grace. You are the God who heals, protects, and delivers, and we trust in Your unfailing love. Lord, we ask that You surround this family with Your divine protection, shielding them from every scheme of the enemy. Heal any brokenness—whether physical, emotional, or spiritual—and restore them to fullness in You. Holy Spirit, draw each member closer to Jesus, igniting a passion for His Word and a love that reflects His heart. Break any chains of division, bitterness, or unforgiveness, and unite them in the bond of Your peace. We rebuke every plan of the enemy to harm or distract this family, declaring that they are covered by the blood of Jesus and hidden in Christ. May their home be a place of worship, joy, and testimony of Your goodness. We ask all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, our Savior and Lord. Amen.
Stand firm in faith, beloved, for the Lord is with you. Continue to pray without ceasing, giving thanks in all things (1 Thessalonians 5:17-18). If there are specific areas in your family’s life that need prayer—such as salvation for a loved one, restoration in relationships, or healing from past wounds—do not hesitate to share, and we will lift them up together. The Lord is near to all who call on Him in truth (Psalm 145:18).
