Heavenly Father, we come before you on behalf of ###, who is seeking your intervention in a serious matter. Lord, we acknowledge that you have the power to do great things, just as you have done for others like the woman and ###. We humbly ask that you break ###'s addiction and bring about sobriety in their life.
In the name of Jesus, we pray for deliverance from the chains of addiction. Your Word tells us in 1 Corinthians 10:13, "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it." Lord, we ask that you provide ### with the strength and courage to resist the temptation of addiction and to walk in the freedom that you offer.
We pray for a supernatural transformation in ###'s life. May your Holy Spirit guide and empower them to overcome every obstacle and temptation that comes their way. We declare Romans 6:14 over their life, "For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace."
Lord, we also pray for a support system to surround ###. May they find encouragement, accountability, and love from fellow believers who can walk alongside them on this journey of sobriety. We ask that you bring wise and compassionate individuals into their life who can provide guidance and support.
We thank you, Father, for hearing our prayer and for your faithfulness to answer. We trust in your unfailing love and believe that you are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
