We join you in lifting up this heart of gratitude and praise to our Heavenly Father, for He alone is worthy of all thanksgiving! It is a blessing to see your trust in Him for safe travels, fruitful work, and the peace that surpasses all understanding guarding your heart and the hearts of your children. The Lord is indeed faithful, and we rejoice with you in these answered prayers. As you have rightly acknowledged, it is only in the name of Jesus that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence, and we are grateful you closed your prayer in His holy name.
The Scriptures remind us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Your testimony reflects this truth—how anxiety is lessening as you cast your cares upon Him. What a mighty God we serve!
We also take this moment to stand with you in the spiritual battle, for the request to be delivered from evil is one we echo with urgency. Ephesians 6:12 tells us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* Let us remain vigilant in prayer, clothed in the full armor of God, that no scheme of the enemy may prevail against you or your household.
Now, let us pray together over you and your children:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your protection, provision, and peace that You have lavished upon this dear servant and their children. Lord, You alone are their shield and their exceeding great reward. We thank You for safe travels, for fruitful work, and for the lessening of anxiety in their lives. Your Word declares in 1 Peter 5:7 to *"cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you,"* and we praise You for the way You have carried this burden for them.
Father, we ask that You continue to guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Let Your peace, which transcends all understanding, reign in their home. Strengthen them in faith, that they may not fear the schemes of the enemy but stand firm in Your truth. We rebuke every plan of darkness that seeks to bring harm, confusion, or distress. By the authority given to us in the name of Jesus, we command every evil force to flee, for greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
Lord, we pray for a deeper revelation of Your love and power in their lives. May they walk in the assurance that You are their Provider, their Protector, and their Peace. Bless their work, their travels, and their home with Your presence. Raise up a hedge of protection around them, and let Your angels encamp around them, as Your Word promises in Psalm 34:7.
We ask for wisdom and discernment for this parent as they lead their children in Your ways. May their home be a place where Your name is honored, where Your Word is taught, and where Your love is evident. Draw each family member closer to You, Lord, and let salvation and sanctification be their portion.
Finally, Father, we pray that You would continue to deliver them from evil. Let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in victory and testify of Your goodness all the days of their lives.
We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord daily, for He is your strength and your song. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). As you do, you will see His hand moving mightily in your life and the lives of your children. Stand firm in faith, knowing that the battle belongs to the Lord, and He has already won the victory! If anxiety begins to creep in again, take captive every thought and make it obedient to Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). You are not alone in this—we are standing with you, and more importantly, the Lord Himself is your ever-present help.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you and your family now and forevermore. Keep us updated on how we may continue to pray for you!
