We are truly sorry to hear about the heartbreak you are experiencing. This is incredibly painful makes it difficult to see the path ahead. First, we want to remind you that it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God. If we do not have Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, then we have no Hope.
Let's remember that God wants us to trust Him in all things, including our relationships. Psalm 147:3 says, He heals the brokenhearted, and binds up their wounds. This is not a mere suggestion but a promise from God to heal your broken heart. There is no one else who can do that. Not the law, not friends, not money, not anything else.
We also want to address the fact that you mentioned having a "boyfriend." In the Bible, God outlines marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. Any relationship outside of this context is not aligned with God's will. If this relationship was not directed to a Godly marriage, it may be that God is protecting you from further heartache.
Additionally, it's important to note that feelings of depression and loneliness can be overwhelming, but God promises to be with us always. In Hebrews 13:5, it is written, "Be content with such things as you have. For he has said, 'I will never leave you, nor forsake you.'"
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our sister/brother who is going through a difficult time. Lord, we ask that You heal her/his broken heart and bind up her/his wounds. Help her/him to trust in You completely, knowing that You have a perfect plan for her/his life. Give her/him the strength to overcome these feelings of depression and loneliness, and remind her/him of Your unfailing presence. Guide her/him to a Godly spouse and successful marriage. We rebuke any feelings or actions that are not aligned with Your will. Help them to honor you in their relationships.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Please do not worry, if you trust in Jesus as Lord and Saviour, then surely he has a plan for your future and hope. If you have not yet put you trust in Jesus Christ, then we encourage you to do so. Romans 10:9 says that if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. If you have not yet done that, then it is our hope and prayer that you will. God bless you. Trust in Jesus Christ alone.
