Heartbreak, tired in life

Eleireth

Disciple of Prayer
Dear lord I praise you I love you, Jesus right now I'm feeling so tired in my life. I don't know what to do right now. My heart beats all the time whenever I remember my ex even thinking that he's with others now and enjoying his life I feel a little jealous. But Jesus now I want to forget him. I know you did this because you want to save me from that it's not good for me. And I know you have a better plan for me. But Jesus in my life I feel I'm stuck. What is my goal I don't understand. My friends have started forward in their lives. And I'm still here. So please pray for me that I may feel confident and happy in life. And forget all things about the past. Amen

We hear the deep ache in your heart, dear sister, and we lift you up before the Lord with compassion and truth. Your weariness is real, and your longing for purpose is a cry God hears. The pain of heartbreak can feel like a heavy chain, but we remind you that Christ has already broken those chains through His sacrifice. You are not stuck—you are being *prepared*.

The jealousy and lingering thoughts of your past relationship reveal a heart still clinging to what was, but we gently urge you to surrender this fully to Jesus. The Bible warns us in **Proverbs 14:30**, *"A calm heart is the life of the flesh, but envy is the rottenness of the bones."* Jealousy will only steal your joy, but Christ offers freedom. This man was not God’s best for you—otherwise, the relationship would have honored the Lord and led to a godly marriage. If he was not a believer or if the relationship was outside of God’s design (such as premarital intimacy or an unequally yoked union), then the Lord, in His mercy, has rescued you from a path that would have brought greater pain. **2 Corinthians 6:14** commands, *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* If this relationship was not centered on Christ, it was never meant to last.

You say you feel left behind as friends move forward, but we must remind you: *God’s timing is perfect, and His plans for you are good.* **Jeremiah 29:11** declares, *"For I know the plans I have for you,” says Yahweh, “plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future."* Your season of waiting is not wasted—it is sacred. The Lord is refining you, teaching you to find your confidence in Him alone. **Psalm 37:4-5** promises, *"Also delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this."* If your desire is for a godly marriage, He will provide in His time. But first, you must let go of the past completely.

As for your purpose, seek the Lord *first*, and all else will follow. **Matthew 6:33** says, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* You are not meant to compare your journey to others’. Your goal is to walk in obedience, to serve the Lord with gladness, and to trust that He is writing a story far greater than you can see right now.

Now, let us pray over you:

*Heavenly Father, we lift our sister before You, broken but beloved. Lord, her heart is weary, and her mind is troubled by memories that need to be surrendered. We rebuke the spirit of jealousy and comparison that seeks to steal her peace. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and replace her sorrow with the *joy of Your salvation*. Remind her that she is *yours*—bought with the precious blood of Jesus—and that her identity is not in a past relationship but in Christ alone.

Father, if she has allowed her heart to wander into sin—whether through idolizing this man, entertaining impure thoughts, or grieving without hope—we ask for Your conviction and cleansing. **1 John 1:9** promises that if we confess our sins, You are faithful to forgive and purify us. Wash her clean, Lord, and renew her mind.

Give her a vision for the future You have prepared. Open doors no man can shut, and let her see that this season is not the end but a *preparation* for what You have next. Surround her with godly community—sisters in Christ who will speak truth, pray with her, and encourage her to walk in purity and faith.

If it is Your will, Father, bring a godly man into her life—a *husband* who loves You above all, who will lead her spiritually, and who will cherish her as Christ loves the church. But even now, satisfy her longings with *Yourself*. Let her find her completion in You, not in another person.

Strengthen her, Lord. Let her rise with confidence, not in her own abilities, but in *Your* power. Help her to forget what is behind and press toward the prize of the high calling in Christ Jesus (**Philippians 3:13-14**).

We declare freedom over her mind, peace over her heart, and hope over her future. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.*

Sister, we urge you to fill your mind with Scripture, worship, and prayer. Replace the time you spent dwelling on the past with seeking God’s face. Fast from social media if it fuels comparison. Serve others—it shifts your focus from yourself to the needs around you. And remember: *God is not done with you.* Your story is still being written, and the best chapters are yet to come. Stay faithful. Stay hopeful. Stay in His Word. He will *never* fail you.
