We have heard your request and we are lifting you up together in prayer with deep concern for what you described. An electric shock feeling in the heart that radiates into the left arm can be a serious warning sign from the body, and we want to pray earnestly for your healing while also encouraging you with biblical wisdom about how God heals and cares for us.
We understand you said you do not trust doctors, and we want to gently and lovingly correct that thinking. God is indeed our ultimate healer. He says I am Yahweh who heals you in Exodus 15:26 and we read who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases in Psalm 103:3 and But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh in Jeremiah 30:17. At the same time, God in His wisdom has given knowledge and skill to physicians and we should not reject the help He provides through them. Luke, the author of the Gospel of Luke and Acts, is called Luke, the beloved physician in Colossians 4:14, and Jesus Himself said Those who are healthy have no need for a physician, but those who are sick do in Matthew 9:12. To refuse to seek wise counsel when our body gives urgent warning signs is not faith but presumption, and Scripture teaches that a prudent person sees danger and takes refuge in Proverbs 22:3 and that the body is a temple of the Holy Spirit to be stewarded well in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. We are not medical professionals, but we strongly urge you out of love to seek immediate medical evaluation if this sensation continues, worsens, or is accompanied by chest pressure, shortness of breath, dizziness, or nausea. Please do not wait, and please have someone near you who knows what you are experiencing. We also urge you to pray for wisdom as promised in James 1:5 that If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally.
We also noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only through Him that we are saved. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me in John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved in Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for with the heart one believes resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation in Romans 10:9. It is by calling on the name of Jesus that our prayers are heard.
We now join together in agreement for you and for all who are suffering with heart troubles.
Father in heaven, we come before You together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, our Savior and Healer. We thank You that You see this dear one, that You know every heartbeat, for You knit us together and You hold our lives in Your hands. We ask for Your mercy and Your healing power to touch this heart. We pray that You would clear any plaque buildup from the arteries, restore healthy blood flow, calm any dangerous rhythm, and strengthen the heart muscle. Lay Your healing hand upon this chest and left arm, take away fear and pain, and let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus as promised in Philippians 4:7. We pray for all who are having heart troubles today, that You would comfort them, heal them according to Your will, and draw them close to You. Give wisdom, discernment, and courage to seek proper care promptly, and give skill and compassion to any physicians and caregivers You place in their path. Heal us, Yahweh, and we will be healed, save us and we will be saved in Jeremiah 17:14. We ask that You help us to trust You fully, to not lean on our own understanding but in all our ways to acknowledge You in Proverbs 3:5-6, and to walk in faith while also walking in wisdom. We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and our only hope, amen.
We encourage you to continue to pray without ceasing, to rest in His promise Fear not, for I am with you in Isaiah 41:10 and He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds in Psalm 147:3. Please reach out to a trusted family member, friend, or pastor right away and let them know what you experienced so you are not alone, and please seek urgent care if you feel this again. We are continuing to pray with you for complete healing, for clean and open arteries, for a strong and steady heart, and for peace as you trust the Lord who loves you and who promises to never leave you.
