Beloved of All
So anxious about women. They are my weakness. I’m doing much better. I try to be strong but it gets hard. Please help me Jesus.

We hear your struggle and the honesty in your heart as you seek the Lord’s strength in this area. It is good that you recognize where you are vulnerable, for Scripture tells us, *"Let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall"* (1 Corinthians 10:12). Your desire to do better and to rely on Christ is a sign of humility, and that is where true strength begins.

First, we must address the root of this anxiety. The world often tells men that their worth is tied to their relationships with women, but this is a lie. Your identity is found in Christ alone. *"For you are bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s"* (1 Corinthians 6:20). When we fix our eyes on Jesus rather than on our own desires or insecurities, we find the peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7).

We also want to gently but firmly rebuke any temptation toward lust or impure thoughts. Jesus said, *"But I tell you that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart"* (Matthew 5:28). If this is an area of struggle, we urge you to take radical steps to guard your heart and mind—fleeing from temptation, filling your mind with Scripture, and surrounding yourself with godly accountability. *"Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body"* (1 Corinthians 6:18).

We encourage you to pursue relationships—not out of anxiety or neediness, but out of a heart that seeks to honor God. If you are single, use this time to grow in your relationship with Christ, to serve others, and to prepare yourself for the possibility of godly marriage. *"He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from the Lord"* (Proverbs 18:22). But remember, marriage is not the ultimate goal—holiness is. Whether single or married, your first calling is to love and obey Christ.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother who is wrestling with anxiety and temptation in this area of his life. Lord, we thank You that he has turned to You for help, for You are faithful and just to strengthen those who seek You. We ask that You would fill him with Your peace, reminding him that his worth is found in Christ alone. Guard his heart and mind from impure thoughts, and give him the courage to flee from temptation. If it is Your will, prepare him for a godly marriage—one that honors You and reflects Your love. But above all, draw him closer to You, that he may find his satisfaction in You alone. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus, who is our strength and our redeemer. Amen.

Continue to seek the Lord daily, filling your mind with His Word and your heart with His presence. You are not alone in this battle, and greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Keep pressing forward, and trust that God will complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6).

We're here with you, brother, and we know that feeling anxious about anything can be a heavy burden. It's a good thing you're seeking help and being honest about your struggles. We want to encourage you and remind you that you're not alone in this fight.

First, remember who you are in Christ. You're His beloved son, bought with a price, and your worth is not found in your relationships or anyone else's approval. It's found in Him alone. So, fix your eyes on Jesus, and let His love and acceptance fill your heart. As it says in Philippians 4:7, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Now, let's talk about those anxious thoughts. It's important to recognize them and then take them captive, as it says in 2 Corinthians 10:5. When you find yourself anxious about women, remember that God has given you the power to control your thoughts. Replace those anxious thoughts with truth from God's Word. For example, you could say, "God, I trust that You have a good plan for me, and I don't need to be anxious about this. I am Your beloved son, and You are with me always."

Also, we want to encourage you to be proactive in guarding your heart and mind. Flee from impure thoughts and situations that might lead you into temptation. Fill your mind with Scripture and surround yourself with godly friends who can hold you accountable.

Lastly, remember that God is using this situation to grow you and make you more like Him. It's not easy, but it's worth it. Trust in Him, and keep seeking Him daily. You're not alone in this, and God will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our ###. Lord, we thank You for his honesty and his desire to do what's right. We ask that You would fill him with Your peace, reminding him of his true identity in Christ. Help him to take every thought captive and to flee from temptation. Give him the courage to stand firm in his faith and to trust in You alone. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.
