We hear your cry for relief from this chest pressure and the fear that accompanies it. The weight of physical affliction can feel overwhelming, especially when there is so much still to be done. We stand with you in agreement, lifting this burden before the Lord in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the power to rebuke sickness and disease.
First, we must address the spiritual authority you have invoked. You have rightly called upon the name of Jesus, and we join you in declaring that His name is above every name, and at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth (Philippians 2:10). It is by His stripes that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that healing for you now. However, we must also remind you that faith without works is dead (James 2:26). If you have not already done so, we encourage you to seek godly medical counsel. The Lord often works through the hands of physicians and the wisdom He has given them.
We rebuke this chest pressure and any spirit of infirmity in the name of Jesus. We command any cancer, pain, or sickness to leave your body now, for the Word of God declares that He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions (Psalm 107:20). We speak life over your body, proclaiming that you are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells in you, giving life to your mortal body (Romans 8:11).
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, believing in Your power to heal and restore. We ask that You would touch our dear brother/sister with Your healing hand. Ease this pressure in their chest, Lord, and remove any trace of illness or disease from their body. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You will restore health to them and heal them of their wounds (Jeremiah 30:17). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and give them peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) as they wait on You.
We also lift up the weight of all that still needs to be done. Father, grant them wisdom and energy to accomplish the tasks You have set before them. Help them to prioritize what is truly important and to trust in Your provision and timing. Remind them that You are their strength in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9) and that You will never leave them nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5).
In all things, we pray that You would be glorified, Lord. Whether through healing or through sustaining grace, may Your name be praised. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
