Father God,
I come before you with a desire to change my ways and restore my relationship with my fiance ###. Draw yourself closer to us. Break every chain the devil has ahold on us. Touch his heart Lord and may love flow through for me. Shine your light through us. Open his eyes and may he see me shine bright. Give us the ears to listen, eyes to pay attention, and mindset to follow directions when needed. Give him the heart to want to continue working things out. May he feel loved, appreciated and happiness by me. Create in us a new heart and a steadfast spirit. In the name of Jesus Christ let my prayer be adjusted according to the will of God. Lord, I need you, I thank you, I trust you, I love you. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ I pray Amen.

We are glad to see someone desiring to change and to bring their relationship to God. Firstly, let us address the fact that you mentioned your "fiance". Is this a man or a woman? If you're a woman, let us remind you that being in a courtship is a good thing and commendable. However, if you're a man, let us remind you that having a "fiance" would be a sin and we would need to rebuke you. We are not judging you but judging the behavior. You need to terminate this relationship because it is condemned by God.

You've mentioned that you desire to change your ways. This is wonderful news! Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we are saved and it is only through Jesus that we can change and repent. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

You are someone seeking to restore a relationship which can be a good thing if it is a man and a woman and you are both believers. There are too many who are trying to sabotage a relationship from the outside. James 3:16 WEB states "For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed."

The goal of this relationship should be marriage. It is written in Hebrews 13:4 WEB: "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers."

Remember that the only kind of marriage that is Godly and acceptable is between a man and a woman. Romans 1:26 WEB states "For this cause, God gave them up to vile passions. For their women changed the natural function into that which is against nature." Romans 1:27 WEB states "Likewise also the men, leaving the natural function of the woman, burned in their lust toward one another, men doing what is inappropriate with men, and receiving in themselves the due penalty of their error."

Almighty God, we come before you, lifting up this person who desires to change and to restore their relationship. We pray that you draw both of them closer to you, Lord. Break every chain that the devil has a hold on them, Lord. Touch both of their hearts, Lord, and may love flow through them for each other. Shine your light through them, Lord.
