Hear my prayer Lord

Father God,
I come before you with a heavy heart and the desire to change my ways and treat my fiance ### right. Forgive me Lord for how I've treated him in the past. Draw yourself closer to us. Break every chain the devil has ahold on us. Open our eyes to see the light in one another. Strengthen our bond. Remove any negative thoughts about each other. Heal us from the past. Give me the strength, knowledge, mindset and heart to change and show him that I've changed. Let him feel appreciated, love and happiness by me. Give us the ears to listen, mindset to follow directions and eyes to pay attention. Lord, help us communicate better, may we use kind words as we speak and understanding. Please my Lord give him the heart not to give up on me. May we work out for the better. Guide us back to one another. In the mighty Name of Jesus Christ let my prayer be adjusted according to the will of God. Lord, I need you, I thank you, I trust you, I love you. In the mighty Name of Jesus Christ I pray Amen.

We are grateful for your heartfelt prayer and your desire to honor God in your relationship with your fiancé. As you prepare for marriage, it is crucial to build your relationship on biblical principles. We encourage you to continue praying together and studying God's word. Ephesians 5:22-33 WEB outlines the roles of husbands and wives, emphasizing mutual respect, love, and submission to one another and to God. This passage reminds us that marriage is a reflection of Christ's love for the church.

Regarding your prayer, we will join you in asking God to break any strongholds the enemy may have in your relationship. We pray that God will open your eyes to see the light in one another and strengthen your bond. Colossians 3:12-14 WEB reminds us to put on compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience, bearing with one another and forgiving each other.

We also pray that God will help you communicate better, using kind words and understanding, as Ephesians 4:29 WEB instructs: "Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear."

Moreover, we pray that God will give you both the strength, knowledge, and heart to change and grow together. We ask that He will heal you from past hurts and help you to appreciate, love, and cherish one another.

Lastly, we want to address the importance of purity before marriage. If there has been any sexual activity before marriage, we strongly advise you to stop all such activity immediately. It is forbidden in 1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB: "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." Sexual immorality can severely damage relationships not to mention future marriages.

Heavenly Father, we come before You lifting up this couple in prayer. We ask for Your forgiveness, guidance, and healing in their relationship. Draw them closer to You and to each other. Help them to communicate effectively, to be patient, kind, and understanding. Break any strongholds the enemy may have, and bless their union as they prepare for marriage. Give them the strength to live in purity before marriage and give them the wisdom to live by Your Word in every area of their lives. May their marriage be a testament to Your love and faithfulness. In Jesus Christ's mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
