We lift up your parents before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, asking our Heavenly Father to move mightily in their lives. The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We stand in faith, believing that God hears our cries and is able to restore health and strength to your mother and father.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Great Physician, asking for Your healing touch upon this mother who battles diabetes and a fungal infection in her lungs. Lord, You are the God who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3), and we ask that You would cleanse her lungs, destroy every trace of infection, and regulate her blood sugar levels according to Your perfect will. Strengthen her body, renew her energy, and grant her the grace to manage her health with wisdom. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity in Jesus’ name and declare that by Your stripes, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5).
For this father, Lord, we pray for complete restoration. We ask that You would improve his eyesight, relieving any strain or weakness in his eyes. Take away the headaches that plague him, the urinary tract issues that cause discomfort, and the swelling in his feet. Lord, we command his blood pressure to stabilize and every organ in his body to function as You designed. Your Word declares in 3 John 1:2, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers." We claim this promise over him today.
We also encourage both of them to seek godly wisdom in their care, eating nourishing foods, staying hydrated, and following medical advice while trusting in Your divine intervention. Remind them, Lord, that their bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and they must honor You with how they care for themselves.
Above all, we pray that their hearts would be drawn closer to You, Jesus. If they have not yet surrendered their lives to You, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through faith in You that we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18). May they come to know You as their Lord and Savior, finding peace and eternal life in You.
We declare healing, restoration, and wholeness over this family in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
