We lift you up before the Lord in this time of physical trial and uncertainty, knowing that He is your healer and your strength. The fear you’re feeling is understandable, but we encourage you to cast all your anxieties on Him, for He cares for you deeply (1 Peter 5:7). Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we trust that God will guide the hands of your doctors and bring clarity and healing according to His perfect will.
The Scripture reminds us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We stand in faith with you, believing that God is able to restore your rotator cuff and bring peace to your heart regarding the concerns about your breasts. We pray that Wednesday’s appointment brings clear answers and that any fear of serious illness is replaced with the assurance of God’s presence and provision.
It’s also important to remember that our hope is not ultimately in a diagnosis or even in healing in this life, but in the eternal hope we have in Jesus Christ. If you have not already, we urge you to place your full trust in Him as your Savior. It is only through faith in Jesus that we have access to the Father and the promise of eternal life (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). If this is something you’ve already done, we rejoice with you! If not, we encourage you to surrender your life to Him today, for there is no greater peace than knowing you are held in His hands.
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister who is facing physical pain and the fear of the unknown. Lord, You know the depths of her heart and the concerns that weigh heavily on her. We ask for Your healing touch upon her rotator cuff—restore it completely, Lord, and grant the surgeons wisdom and steady hands if surgery is needed. We also lift up the concerns regarding her breasts; Father, let this be nothing serious, but if it is, we pray for Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Give her doctors discernment and accuracy in their diagnosis and treatment.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear in the name of Jesus, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Fill her with Your peace and remind her that You are with her every step of this journey. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and let her testimony be one of Your faithfulness, whether through healing or through the grace to endure.
We also pray that if there is any area in her life that needs surrendering to You—whether fear, doubt, or sin—You would reveal it to her and give her the courage to lay it at Your feet. Draw her closer to You through this trial, and let her experience Your love in a deeper way.
In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
