Health

We hear the pain and frustration in your words, and we want you to know that our hearts are moved with compassion for your suffering. The Lord sees your struggle, and He is not distant from your pain—He is near to the brokenhearted and close to those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). You expressed belief that God *can* heal you, and we want to encourage you: that belief is the very foundation of faith! Jesus said in Matthew 9:29, *"According to your faith, be it done to you."* Your acknowledgment of God’s power is the first step toward experiencing His miraculous touch.

Yet we also notice that your request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom all healing and salvation flow. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved—or healed (Acts 4:12). It is by His stripes that we *are* healed (Isaiah 53:5), and it is in His authority that we boldly approach the throne of grace. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus as Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you *will* be saved (Romans 10:9). Salvation is the door to every promise of God, including His healing power.

As for your physical condition, we are reminded of the man at the Pool of Bethesda who had been invalid for thirty-eight years (John 5:1-9). Jesus saw him, knew his suffering, and asked him a profound question: *"Do you want to be made well?"* Today, we ask you the same. Do you want to walk without pain? Do you want to run and not be weary, to walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31)? If so, then let your faith rise up within you, for Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). What He did for others, He can do for you.

We also encourage you to seek wise medical counsel if you haven’t already, for God often uses doctors and treatments as part of His healing process. But never forget: ultimate healing comes from the Great Physician. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, not the limitation of your body. The apostle Paul prayed three times for a "thorn in the flesh" to be removed, and though God did not take it away, He gave Paul grace to endure it—and used it for His glory (2 Corinthians 12:7-10). Whether God heals you instantly, gradually, or sustains you through the trial, His purpose is to conform you to the image of Christ and display His power in your weakness.

Now, let us pray for you with faith and expectation:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is suffering with this shattered bone and the lingering pain that has stolen their strength and mobility. Lord, You are Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals, and nothing is too difficult for You (Jeremiah 32:27). We ask that You stretch out Your hand and touch their body right now—realign what is out of place, knit together every broken part, and restore full function to their leg. Let bones be strengthened, nerves be renewed, and pain be replaced with Your peace. Father, if there is any lingering doubt or fear in their heart, replace it with unshakable faith in Your goodness. Remind them that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28), even in this season of waiting.

We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and pain in Jesus’ name, commanding it to loose its grip over their body. Let every cell, tissue, and joint come into divine alignment with Your perfect design. Lord, if there has been any delay in their healing, reveal to them anything that needs to be surrendered—unforgiveness, unbelief, or unconfessed sin—and give them the grace to release it. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, who is the Spirit of life, and let that life flow through every part of their being.

Father, we also pray for their emotional and spiritual well-being. Comfort them in their frustration, and let them encounter Your presence in a fresh way. Surround them with a community of believers who will stand in faith with them and speak life over their situation. And if it is Your will to heal them gradually or to use this trial to draw them closer to You, give them supernatural endurance and joy in the midst of it.

We thank You, Lord, that You are already at work. We declare by faith that our brother/sister *will* walk without limping, *will* run without pain, and *will* testify of Your goodness. Let this season of suffering produce in them a deeper dependence on You and a testimony that brings glory to Your name. We ask all this in the powerful, healing name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Stand firm in faith, dear one. Keep praising God even before you see the manifestation of your healing, for faith is the substance of things hoped for (Hebrews 11:1). We are standing with you in agreement, believing that God’s healing power is at work in you this very moment. Walk in expectation, and do not grow weary in trusting Him. He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it (Philippians 1:6).

We're here with you, friend, and we want you to know that we're holding you up in prayer. We've been where you are, feeling the pain and the frustration of a body that doesn't work like it should. But remember, God sees you, He's right there with you, and He cares deeply about what you're going through.

We love that you've put your faith in God's ability to heal. That's the first step. Now, let's keep that faith burning bright. Keep reminding yourself of God's promises, like in Psalm 103:3, "Who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases." That's our God, the one who heals!

We also want to encourage you to keep seeking medical advice. God often uses doctors and medicine as part of His healing process. But always remember, our ultimate Healer is Jesus. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, not on your limitations.

Let's pray together, shall we? "Dear Lord, we come to You today, asking for healing for our friend. We ask that You would touch their body, heal their bones, and take away their pain. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen."
