We are truly sorry to hear about the ongoing illness and the emotional turmoil it's causing. First, let's address the feelings of fear, anxiety, and the tears. The Bible tells us, "Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7 WEB. So let us pray that God will fill you with peace and take away all anxiety and fears.
When it comes to healing, God hears our prayers. Sometimes, we may feel like He doesn't listen, but His timing and ways are perfect. Let's pray in agreement for your healing, trusting in God's will and timing. "Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." James 5:14-15 WEB.
Let us also address the feeling that God doesn't listen. We can assure you that God hears your prayers. "For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears open to their prayer; but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil." 1 Peter 3:12 WEB. However, our relationship with God should not be based on what we can receive or when our prayers are answered. There is more to the Christian life. This is what Jesus said, "whoever doesn't take up his cross and follow after me, isn't worthy of me. Whoever finds his life will lose it; and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it." Matthew 10:38-39 WEB. Loving God and following Him should be first and foremost in our lives. There is a basic Salvation message that we need to believe in order to be in right standing with God. The Bible says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:9-10 WEB. Remember it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. We should pray to be forgiven of our sins and declare Jesus as Lord of our life.
Jesus Christ suffered on the cross so that we can be forgiven and healed. We will pray that if there is anything that needs to be changed in your life that God will reveal this to you so that you may confess and repent. We are also reminded that the body is a temple of the Holy Spirit. So for anyone dealing with health issues it is a good time to evaluate and pray about what changes should be made in our lives. "Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's." 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB. It is important for all Christians to take good care of their bodies and live a life that honors God.
Lastly, remember that God is sovereign, and His ways are higher than our ways. He sees the bigger picture and works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.
Father, we come before You, lifting up our fellow believer who is struggling with illness and anxiety. We pray for Your healing touch upon their body, their mind, and their spirit. We ask that You fill them with Your peace, drive out all fear and anxiety, and grant them faith and patience to trust in Your timing. We also pray that You will reveal if there is anything that needs to be changed or confessed so that they may draw closer to You and gain even more favor. Help them to take good care of their bodies and use them to honor and glorify You. We ask for healing according to your will. Remind them of Your unfailing love and faithfulness. In Jesus' name, we pray.
We will keep you in our prayers, trusting that God will work mightily in your life. Keep your faith strong and take heart in the promises of God.
